The wheels would have to fall off far more worryingly than a loss to Adelaide at AO to miss finals. There's no excuse to not beat Richmond and Essendon at home, and then it's just one more win from the remaining – Port away and Carlton away seem like the most likely.

If that all falls apart then go ahead and blow up, but I think it's pretty likely we make it from here. Having said that, were a #7 or #8 team this year. Capable of beating good teams, but not capable of beating them all (or most) of the time.

I think it's fairly interesting how important Touk is to our attack, the link between our midfield strength and our forward line. Second half against Collingwood, and the match against Adelaide was pretty poor in this regard.
Touk and Graham will be both be very valuable leading into finals. Hopefully Collins comes back this week

thats exactly where Touk and Will Graham excel and to a lesser extent Weller

Long essentially got into the game, when Swallow played deep forward starting next to King and it pushed Long up the ground. Started getting hit up marks. Further away from goal but helped the team structure

Interesting when Rioli went down, he thought still with Noble and Jeff we still needed extra run and Budarick got moved. His numbers looked good but thought he blasted the ball. Was Powell’s best game for some time 3rd highest rated player on the ground. Moved up to the wing to stop the Curtin mismatch that was killing Jeppo/Clohesy (blaming Dimma for not doing it straight away since we flagged it midweek here)

Clohesy isnt a premiership player IMO
Good solid contributor with no heat
3 key defenders, Noble and Jeffrey half back (without Rioli) and Uwland as the lockdown

Powell defensively as one winger, offensive winger take your pick, someone who can get forward and kicks goals Brisbane, Geelong, Adelaide, Collingwood all have one

I think Jed Walter needs to go to center half back. The current forward structure is not working and the stats underline this, this would get Walter into the game by following an opponent around, he's a big unit and could have a greater impact on the game.
Bring another small forward in like Sexton or whoevers in form and this will open things up a bit.

I’d rather Read go back. He’s a pretty good kick, which helps in a backline. And he should have a bigger tank to run up the ground more.

But I do take the point that three tall forwards (or at least these three, currently, maybe due to inexperience) isn’t working out most weeks.
