I reckon McManus, JLo, Gilmore and Browne from the bench... and TLo or Dunn to replace Headland if he can't play.

Ok when do we start the rumour that Cookie has been messing around with the coaches wives?.

I'm confused, they are prepared to play a so so fit Headland (last week and maybe this week), but not play Cookie who has had two good hit outs with Perth and I reckon has proved he is ready. Different selection policy?.

I think Connolly has a plan of replacing Cook with Dunn for good sooner or later.

I think he is trying to get the midfield to not rely on Cookie. I wouldn't read to many conspiracies into it.

Has Grover shown much form? I must say I havn't really noticed him all preseason.

I heard Cunningham on 6pr the other night and he was saying that Ash Prescott told him he had to try to dominate at WAFL level to be ready when a vacancy appeared. He also said he had been working on his kicking all off season with Kevin Ball. He was from all accounts BOG for the Retirement Village against Perth last week and is probably on standby for Headland.

IMO he would be a handy addition for the SCG as he is good at clearances.

One thing for sure is that the blokes that come in will be desperate to stay there.
What a luxury to have a bit of depth. :D

I for one will be dissapointed if Cunningham comes in for Headland. A couple of decent performances in the WAFL doesn't make up for his woeful form in his last 2 games for Freo (Wiz cup game and Rd 12 v Geelong last year).

Just don't think he can cut it in the AFL and he has had more than enough chances. This is his fifth year now.

I got the impression from his interview that he had been "told".

Some do take longer than others, Have a look at our neighbours list and see how long some of them have been there and come good. Fletcher , Embly etc.
