All winners from round 1 are playing the losers from round 1, so if the winners salute again we will have a comp split in two at 2-0 and 0-2, or if all losers seek revenge and get up then all 18 teams will be 1-1.
The last time this happened was Round 2, 2003. Before the Suns & Giants entered the national landscape.

Every game is between a Round 1 winner and a Round 1 loser. So it's possible that there will be a 2 game gap between 9th and 10th after Round 2. In fact of the losers, only Freo would be a strong favourite this week. I think Hawthorn might rebound though.
Imagine if all last weeks losers won. And the ladder had 18 teams at 1-1
Not sure if we'd ever see that again

North have lost a few in QLD recently IIRC, you weren't dreadful v WC imo, and getting a few key players back. You're a chance.
We beat them by 72 and 82 points last year. Not sure they have improved that much to turn that around - especially off 6 days coming back from WA.

28K to Essendon Melbourne? Are you drunk? It'll clear 50K easily. We have our best chance to finally put together two wins in a row and potentially win big, also Essendons first home game and they have that stupid march to the ground that'll attract all the Hirdites.

and there's no snow yet

Completely different side this year. We had a hell of a lot injuries last year. For starters our "key forward" for that game at the Gabba was Brent Staker... This week we will have Walker, Schache and Freeman all legitimate key forwards and quite talent albeit young and underdeveloped. Stakes was an underrated player but well past his prime last year and more of a 3rd tall then a genuine key position forward let alone the only KPF.

Pies v Tigers - Tigers in a nailbiter, Pendlebury best on ground.
Crows v Port - Port by a goal, Robbie Gray to continue his form
Dee's v Ess - Melbourne by 50, Hogan to kick 9 on whichever poor fool Woosha puts on him
Bris v Roos - Goldstein with the big game in a 29 point win.
Saints v Dogs - Roos 300th and not the first time he will have broken Dogs hearts. Saints by 1.
Freo v Suns - Gazza to shine once again, but Fyfe to hit back with a big game in a 39 point victory.
GWS v Cats - Geelong by 19, Stevie J inexplicably reported.
Hawks v WCE - Heart of a champion but not enough to stop Kennedy and the Eagles, West Coast by 12, everyone to think it means the end of an era, nope.
Blues v Swans - Bolton to further improve his charges this week but not nearly enough against a prime Swans team of youth and experience, Swans by 50.

If it doesn't happen then it's just proof that equalisation isn't working!
