Must... Stop... Reading...trade....discussion.....

My trigger finger gets too itchy. :(

I've traded Tom Ruggles out for Papley via Tipungwuti as I didn't have an emergency in the back line. Not too bad a move is it?

HELP GUYS!!
Sitting at a solid 13,000 ATM but I gotta get libba in, but it's proving difficult!!
JJ is also really tempting me after his huge preseason and round 1.
Seedsman and Steele (and fyfe!) stunk it up, and I also missed benken and weitering.
With fyfes injury concern, I'm considering Fyfe and mills to ward and libba.
Ward should do really well without Treloar and libba is a discounted premium.
Can someone please talk me either out of or into this??
(Steele --> benken and Seeds --> JJ would also work, but it doesn't get me libba)

Trade Fyfe ;)

Oliver gets my vote as the cripps/touk guy of this year.
think a few may jump off then he'll go bang.
so much upside.
Touk maybe. Not Cripps.

Question mark over his tank so he'll likely sit out large chunks of games as well as get rested a couple of times.

Why do you think a few may jump off?

The advantage? Trading a top 6 mid after one poor game is not getting an advantage. Quite the opposite. All this talk of him being dropped is just ridiculous, its nothing more than people justifying a sideways trade.
If I knew it was a certain advantage then I would have done it Monday night as soon as Supercoach opened for this week.

The advantage could POSSIBLY be that Barlow stinks it up again this week and gets 60 and someone like Wingard gets 120 and all of sudden you have 60 more points then those with Barlow and also can use your corrective trades next week on Rookies before they rise instead of doing your head in deciding between trading in rookies or getting rid of premiums before they drop in price. That's the advantage, the disadvantage is the complete opposite happening. If only we had crystal balls.

Not a big fan of that move. Stick fat with Gawny for now, I reckon he will take a lot of contested marks this year. If you must swap him later it has to go to NicNut or Martin

Find spare dollars elsewhere.

Gawn was good. Up against Mummy he was never going to go 120+.

He'll go to town this weekend against the Bombers. Almost skipper material.

Roos has said Oliver will be rested at stages this year. Admitted they made an error not doing similar with Angy Brayshaw in 2015. I doubt CO will get rested until mid year though, barring injury.

Barlow will go 110+ this week.

My crystal ball told me so.

If you believe Fyfe to be hampered, and expect him to drop from legit SuperPremo to regular Premo, and you're missing Dangerfield, I think it's justified. It may prove to be the wrong decision, but it's justified.

.
yeah I agree. I have Dangerfield, but not Gaz. I'll probably wait another week, but if Fyfe stinks it up again, looks proppy and spends a substantial time in the forward line while Gaz bangs on another 140+ score, I'm switching.

It's only 1 trade, people make it sound like it's going to wreck all future trading ability.

Bingo.

I'm sticking with Fyfe but if he spuds it up again will bring in Priddis or GAJ.

If Barlow spuds it up again will look at bringing in JKK, S Gray or Wingard.

If Steele spuds it up again will be looking at bringing in De Goey.

If all three spud it up again I'm going to cry!

Wingard has a class edge over Gray. It's quite substantial IMO.

Sam Gray required 37 touches for his 99. His kicking is often indiscriminate.

Wingard will get value for his touches. S Gray not so much. IMO

Wingard also costs 47k more so it's not exactly apples and apples.

Of course a merc is a nicer car the a falcon.

I'm probably going to trade essenspud m brown to weitering.

As well as being a rookie correction, it allows me to put bartel in the mids to cover sidey for the next 2 weeks.
Otherwise I'd be fielding someone like gresham, davis, tippa, Mccarthy.

47K is only 10% more than Gray, to get Wingard.

So it's more like BMWs are nicer than VWs or Audis.

Dude should get the Beemer named Chad :)

Got stuck with N.Broad in the back line due to the early lockout. What are the chances he plays R2 or R3?
Very slim. If a third tall comes in it will probably be Chaplin ahead of Broad.

Personally I think Chaplain is finished and we should develop Broad, but Hardwick is nortoriously conservative with that sorta stuff.

I wouldn't trade dis week but you'll have to move Lee on I don't think he'll play much.
Mitch hibberd might get games with jed going down.
Big bodied HBF for a nippy MID/FWD? Nah. Behind a few atm.

I'm looking at Fyfe and B Crouch to GAJ and Libba. Opinions on this?

Robinson out hurts. I think I'm gonna go Tippa for Papley but might wait another week for that one before price changes take place.
Dont do it! Crouch is gonna go bang soon enough and you'll miss it.Inflated score for Libba with the smashing the dogs dished out(he's a gun but).As for Fyfe....was super expensive but you spent it already.you'll only want to get him later.biggest waste of a trades.he'll come good!

Whether or not it's this week or next week, I'm thinking 1 corrective trade to bring in one of Oliver or Kennedy.
To do that I have to trade CEllis.

Which one do I bring in though?

Neither.

Nothing wrong with Ellis, would be a waste of a trade IMO

Makes sense. We should compare outcomes, Mr Steadier, seeing as you are preparing to hold and cover for Mr Sidebottom whereas I am throwing his ass to the kerb.

I worry that you are going a week early on Weitering, because I am still hoping that he goes nowhere near it this weekend and I don't have to get him in next week. I'll probably do the exact same trade, Brown>Weitering, after Round 2.

If you swing Bartel into the mids, you are effectively covering Sidey with your shittest defender. Just sayin'

Wait and see who does better this week.
CEllis could go 100+ this week

Get BenKen this week or you'll miss his score against Essendon. It's the only reason you wouldn't wait a week, but the way the Bombers are going to go this year, it's worth planning around.

BenKen is a very safe 'rookie' to be bringing in. He's hitting his physical peak maturity wise, he's well and truly done an AFL apprenticeship and he's now at a club where he is best 22 for the first time in his career. Another week really isn't going to tell you much about him that you don't already know, apart from whether or not he gets injured.

If you missed BenKen you stuffed up. Fix it already

Likely to bring BenKen in for Dea this week.
