Notice Mundy has been played at HF for a few games now thought he is struggling and after Lyons presser reckon he is zero chance next week.

Out: Mundy, Ibbo, C Pearce. Perhaps one of Dawson/Johnson (rested) for Faulks.
In: Sheriden (full game),PAV! , Michie, Faulks

Hill off half back, Fyfe to play HF unless we need him in the centre.

That presser was comedic gold from Rossco. Love the last comment about him wishing he rested Mcpharlin last year.

Out: C. Pearce (inj)
Sheridan (did little as a sub)
Crowly (rest him so he can get a break for 1 week before finals)
In: Pav
Crozier (sub)
Michie

If Mundy is injured then Sheridan can keep his possition as the sub.

not meaning to be rude, but were you at the game?
C Pearce did 2 or 3 good things, but was Doddlike (actually, Dodd did some OK things, so he just was Doddlike) all game.
very much a liability in the team

No worries, You're not rude just giving your opinion.

Was I at the game? No, not even in the country, but can tell you right, I've been to plenty of Etihad games and know I miss a fair amount compared to watching it live. The fact you call him Clanger is enough for me to disagree with you. If we are talking clangers Mr Neale is the biggest culprit tonight, luckily both didn't result in two goals . Is he liability ?

Sadly, Clancee's unfortunate nickname does appear to be Clanger from some of the DTV snippets...

Ins:
Pav, michie

Out:
Whichever mid needs a rest ( Mundy, Fyfe, Barlow) , C.Pearce

Michie to start if it's an inside mid being rested

And if Crowley's paddle even gets mentioned by MRP I'll eat every hat in Australia

We are talking about the freakin' MRP here - do you want tomato sauce with mine?

Not sure if players will be 'rested' this week with our current potential outs.

We don't know how serious C. Pearce and Ibbo's injuries are, Mundy's been battling a sore ankle for a while and might be given a week or two to recover, plus Macca's still out.

I was at the game and have been to every game at Subi this year plus the game in Melbourne against the Dogs early in the year.
I don't know what it is with some supporters they get a fixation about a player and no matter what happens stick the knives in every opportunity.
You seem to be Melbourne based how many of our games have you seen live this year?

fair call that I live in Melbourne & have since January.
I wouldn't call it sticking the knives in when it has been coming for a long time & is yet to happen.

Faulks will get burned against Cameron, no thanks. Dawson to wrap up their major target. Zac can then rest against Melbourne if McPharlin comes in. The defence is settled as it is.. We need an absolute demolition against GWS.

Out - Mundy rested\ankle, Sheridan unless another player is sore e.g. Mzungu, Ballas, C Pearce
In - Michie, Pavlich, (If multiple players are injured or need a rest, Mellington has earned a game)

Ibbotson can have 1 more week to get over his achilles injury.

I believe we should start resting players to make sure everyone is 100% come finals.

Willoblue. Give it a rest. There is no rational reason for your hate of Clancee. There is no rational reason for Bradesmaens hate of Mzungu.
Do you get it? Your irrational hate makes you as bad as one of the biggest tossers on this site. Accept that this is your problem. You need to work through this.

You missed Memories and Mundy. And a fair few of our supporters who still don't see how good Dawson is.

I hate it, no matter how much other people point out the good they do, some people just cannot take the blinkers off and continue to hate a particular player.

Clancee is best 22, we all know it (except for one person). He is one of the few that have played every game and probably is one of the nominees for a rest.

Mundy, Barlow, Fyfe and Hill have all missed games through injury / suspension so shouldnt need a rest.

Other candidates for a week off could be Mayne, Johnson, Crowley.

TBH I would really consider giving Crowley a week off - he isn't slowing down, but he has had a massive work load this year and would have to be sore given the constant battering he gets.

I understand your frustration. I never rated a guy called Grover but as he indisputably bled purple it was a difficult point to make. You've made your position clear, there really is no need to go on about it. For what it's worth I don't think Clanger is that great, but he is a solid build ie hard to move off the ball and can kick 60m off one step providing an alternative kick out option, these two weapons make him superior to Dodd. Finally, Ross knows the game better than you or I and he thinks Clanger is fine, therefore so do I and so should you.

I find it bizarre you referred to him as Clanger as well... It's not like it is his nick name, just one posters penchant.

Out - Mundy (sore ankle)\ Clance Pearce (Ankle), Mayne (Rest)
In - Pavlich, Michie, Mellington\Crozier

Ibbo to have one more week to get over his Achilles injury.

With Pavlich back, I would like to rest Mayne and Mellington as well.

Mayne, Mzungu, D Pearce, de Boer, Crowley, Johnson, C Pearce and Dawson have played 18 games this year all should be considered for a rest over the next 3 weeks.

Maybe Crowley next week.

Johnson was brilliant.
Clanger, was, well, Clanger. Dodd mark 2. I watch every thing each Freo player does on field. Don't you?
I had a great night & only the Clangerflogs are bringing me down. (as per usual)

Thought I read this post last week. And the week before. Pretty sure most posters on here have picked up on your opinion about C Pearce. Continually reposting the same opinion, or coming up with a new troll-name is just a little bit silly.

How about coming up with a theory about why Lyon includes him in the team when you insist he is not best 25?

Agreed for no resting players, only injured/semi-injured players to get the week off. Maybe only possible exception is Crowley, with De Boer and Mzungu to fill tagging duties (although I still can't see this happening).

This is a much different game to last year, GWS may only have won one game this year but they've played with much greater intensity and skill than last year. They've kept up with Geelong and Collingwood until the 4th quarter and have suffered other moderate losses to good teams. The one win they have achieved came last week, and they'll be coming over here full of confidence.

With our present strong team I still expect a comfortable win; but maybe not the 95 points (that should have been 150) last year. RTB will want that though, as apart from winning all our last games percentage boosting may be the difference between Sydney losing 1 or 2 games that see us into the Top 2 (or at least in a position where we're not playing Hawks first week).
