Mature response from the group in the last quarter. Can’t ask for much more than that when it looked like it was going off the rails late in the third.
Hopefully Cal & Linc’s injuries aren’t to bad. That forward mix is the go. Stick with it Fages and don’t be tempted by anything else.

Terrific performance and great last quarter.
Far from perfect but tremendous ticker shown at multiple stages tonight.
Learnings have definitely been heeded.

Stupendous win against the 1st place team away, can not complain about that. We were by far the better side except for a couple of 5-10 minute patches where they kicked 3-4 goals in a row.
I hope there are not too many negative nellies posting tonight, lets bask in a great win.

That was a satisfying win and hopefully one the boys take confidence in as a win in Melbourne. Held during a couple of their charges and came away with a solid win. Saints next week and will be cheering loud for the Bombers. Go Lions!!!

We'd be relying on Essendon to win. So no. Unless somehow Essendon can win and then still miss finals in which case, yes.

We've had our stumbles this year, and have maybe not focused too much on putting in the whole effort for every single game. but the game tonight really showed what we are working towards. Peaking in finals and coming strong.
Great to see Neale and Dunkley get into it more.
Sad to see Ah Chee and Linc with the jackets on. We'll see how that goes

Collingwood supporters around me started with the whole "ah well let's see how you go on the big paddock" even before the end of the game. Yep, I think we picked it like a dirty nose!

When do we sack fages
Pies had a third of their best 22 out tonight or lost during the game. Some of these outs will carry to next week. Essendon always goes to the next level against the Pies and are no easy beats especially playing for a chance at finals. I can believe.

Never in doubt legends- solid team effort. When Lachie and Dunks are on we are a serious team. Great effort from Hippy to work his way into it. Please just let Rayner play that role every week. Loved Kiddy’s game too.

Payne was a massive concern. Off the pace and no read in the ball. Big O??? Just constantly gives up the front spot. Always player focused rather than ball. So easily worked out of contests. Concerned
Feel sorry for AhChee. Was killing it until the injury. He just can’t get a clean run at it. Look out when he does.
