How's that going to work when ANZAC day is on a Wednesday? This game is part of the following weekend's round.

Will the ANZAC eve game on the Tuesday (night?) be part of the preceding round or the same round as the ANZAC day game and the following weekend's game?

After barely playing last year I'd forgotten how old he was

Cripps was BOG in my view and was in the top handful of individual performances this year in any game, simply outstanding. Hogan had a very good game but will play better ones this year and didn't tear the game apart like Cripps did. Wish we had both.

Taking nothing away from Hogan, he's going to be a star, was too tall for Rance on a few occasions. But Cripps was magnificent

Hogan is a whole centremetre taller than the resident All Australian full back. The word you're looking for is "better".

Not sure about the logistics when it falls mid week. I think they are talking those details through. They may do it only when it's feasible like this week.

Should be Sunshine, though it's important to note that GC put way too much stock into stopping Cameron.

Cripps had an excellent game, and would get it on a week that a young CHF didn't kick 5 in.

Hogan was awesome, and if you don't look at the stats he would be very close to the nod - but you do look at the stats and his aren't as good as Cam's.

Jeremy Cameron, Cameron McCarthy - this is going to get confusing.

That's presuming Patton gets fit before Boyd finds his feet at AFL level and gets it together. Because when Boyd does it's going to be something worth watching. There was always the Cameron to CHB option?

The reality is Patton, Cameron, Boyd, Stewart, Tomlinson is more than enough quality and depth. GWS were always going to lose at least 1. Seems so far, just like with the mids, they made the right call and got maximum return by letting go the guy who didn't want to be there. That doesn't mean this player is better than that player and so on. Boyd (like Dom Tyson and Taylor Adams) will be a super footballer.

There was probably a gap between the likes of Franklin, Roughy, Josh Kennedy, Riewoldt, Walker and this current group of young key forwards with not a lot in between. So it's good for footy that we'll be having these debates, even if they become a mess on bigfooty!

Come off it mate, there was legit reasons why the Giants picked Boyd at no 1 in what's looking like possibly the greatest national draft ever ..

Boyd looks like a much better fit at the Dogs then GWS though, and McCarthy has flourished because of Boyd leaving.

Feel bad for Freo, who had their hearts set on Sunshine before GWS surprisingly gazumped them, which did throw bit of a curveball in the draft ..

All of Cripps, Hogan and McCarthy would be locks any other week.

'Hulk' and 'Sunshine' have backed in repeated performances, whereas that was 'Masterloafs' first impressive game.

Hogan will get it I think. McCarthy need only kick a couple next week and he should get it (vice versa too). These 2 young KF's are smashing it
