He kicked 3 last week as well

I think when Long has had a month and shown this little, then subbed out, and all Petch has done is an instant goal as a sub vs Brisbane then a five goal WAFL day you simply have to reward it.

Even if we’ve done the Petch thing 100 times, I don’t think selection integrity dictates anybody but Petch being the first in this week.

Yeah, yeah i fold like a cheap suit.

Brock and Maric can handle Curnow between them, Ginbey and Hough can help.

Feel we are 1 KD short but Edwards is not quick enough for Curnow.

Result - A better balance of forwards - Combination of lead-up, contested marking, improved foot skills while maintaining pace.

Start Davis, keep two wings that can run all day
Rawlinson to the backline brings skill and poise.

Start out two biggest mongrels on the ball to win some clearances and set the tone from the outset.

Flynn in as a blunt tool to physically hurt TDK. Old school, nasty rucking.

HEdwards on McKay no matter where he goes.
Brock had 9 kicked on him but did some very good things too. Curnow another test but he'll be better for the run. Ginbey would be good if he works his way up the ground.

89 games is enough for Petro to show sort of form and (all too often) he's shown nothing.

(That's 14th most at the club and still isn't a regular ... why?)

Maybe the new fast game style will suit him but how many more false dawns before we finally give up and give another kid a go?

For those that want Bo Allan, I recommend going to watch the WAFL matches.
You want baker out because he can't hit the side of a barn, well same goes for Allan at the moment.
He needs more development time.

His skill level was always curiously over inflated. Needs to work on it tremendously, although the bar is at one of the lowest for competency at our club

We've been their bunnies since 1991.

I know why, he is extremely creative amd smart when he gets his hands on it. Unfortunately it just doesnt happen near enough.

Good way to sap any sort of momentum out of a season from the get go. Crazy that we get that sort of draw finishing third last

Dropping Brock for Hedwards would be rediculous.
Hogan is last years Coleman medalist and the best forward in the comp being fed lace out by a rampaging midfield under no pressure. Dont for a second think that Hewards would have faired any better, he had his blushes saved. Brock got himself in good position most of the time, but he used the ball far better than Hedwards when he got it.
Im not against bringing Hedwards in to assist Brock as a genuine 2nd KPD but in no way should he replace him.

Yeah we do need some leaders out there but once Gov and Yeo come back, and with Cripps and Baker out there, that should be plenty. The young blokes actually stopped us losing by 100+ and ran the game out well.

Everyone on that list should be replaced immediately. Maybe a little bit more lenient on the small forwards as there was zero clean supply but they were also most of the reason the ball was slingshotting straight back past us

Let's add in, 6 day break into Adelaide on the bounce from trip to Sydney, vs 9 day break for Carlton on their 1st trip outside of Melbourne for the season.
