Hawks and red time goals are becoming as predictable as Brad and Chris Scott whinging about umpires

Our midfield can't get near it at the moment.

Newcombe - 5 touches (all handballs)
Worpel - 4 touches
Nash - 4 touches
Day - 2 touches

Suppose that's a good sign given we are ahead.

Meek and Moore have been standouts. Pressure has been impressive for most of that quarter.

Great goal from Watson too, love to see that.

Equal Centre and Stoppage clearances.

-8 contested possessions
-5 uncontested possessions
-2 inside 50's
+1 marks inside 50
equal contested marks

Kicking straight really helps.

Midfield is still battling but we've been good around the ground. If we can get our core mids into the game then we won't have to be working out asses off for each goal and might be able to get a few from centre clearances.

They got the last couple of goals but overall I'm really happy with that quarter.

Our forward 50 entries have been so crisp. Marks to Gunston, Gunni, Wizard, Meek in goal scoring positions that came from precision kicks and great decision making.

Pressure was awesome and a nice reminder at the end that it's gotta been maintained.
Meek, Moore’s and Wizard’s goals were excellent. That’s a very different forwardline from last year and I’m loving it

Worpel needs to be a bit quicker with his decisions, has been very close to getting caught multiple times
Doesn't show on TV his "slow disposals" are because he's waiting for an option down field.
If he rushes his disposal and turns it over you'd be saying he needs to be smarter with his possessions

Very happy with that quarter, and looking very capable across all lines. Watson and Ginnivan very exciting and Dear again showing he belongs. A big fan of MacKenzie. Still raw but he knows how to find the ball

Great pressure and ball use for most of the quarter. The Wiz looks lively early.

They ramped up the pressure and we now need to respond.

Amon and Impey’s ball use has been average. That turnover from Amon changed the momentum.

Dear impressive again.

Intensity dropped off but contest work pretty good and ball use inside 50 has been super

Ginni had his head taken off again and was standing upright and kicking... umps taking the p155 now, and the commentators don't even comment now...

And meek getting penalised for ball when that isn't ball anymore (taking ball from the ruck)
