Totally agree. Unlike most years when we come home late with a wet sail, winning won't be enough. We have to capitalise against the worst teams. Conditions made it impossible but we really should have put Freo away by 60.

Our percentage in 2014 when we were 3/10 was 92%.... If we get to 6 and 7 like we should at worst (assuming wins over Essendon, Gold Coast, Brisbane and a loss to North) and then come home with a wet sail as you said, % won't matter and we should be coming from a better place to start with...

Interesting that Brandon gets a vote and not one single poster could find a vote for him. Shows the different perspective.

I got the top five right (according to the coaches), but I wouldn't have had Ellis in my top 10 (and I'm not a B. Ellis basher).
He must have run himself ragged (something that's difficult to see on the telly).

I thought he was generally good. He nailed targets, performed well under pressure, and tackled hard. I wouldn't have had him in my top 5 but I can see how Dimma might toss him a vote because him going back to cover the losses of Ellis, Houli, KMac, Yarran and Conca was hugely important to our team.

Might have been done already, but I love to name the lineup as it should be (happy enough with the INs, disappointed Chaplin is out but ah well):

B: Grimes, Astbury, Batchelor
HB: Morris, Rance, C Ellis
C: B Ellis, Vlastuin, Cotchin
HF: Deledio, Vickery, Lloyd
F: Rioli, Riewoldt, Griffiths
R: Hampson, Martin, Miles
Int: Edwards, Grigg, Lambert, Hunt

> Reckon there's any genuine chance of late changes with all these sick rumours???

> Bit early but I hope next week we sit 4-6 and the changes are:

OUT: Astbury, Hunt
IN: Chaplin, Conca

Geez if half of that team never played again i would not be fazed.

Next week if all players were fit and i know some are long term i would be going

B: Grimes - Elton - Conca
HB: Deledio - Rance - McIntosh
C: Menadue - Martin - Yarran
HF: Rioli - Riewoldt - Lennon
F: C Moore - McBean - Lloyd
R: Hampson - Cotchin - Miles
Int: Edwards - Vlastuin - C Ellis - Griffiths.

Outside of that 22 and some are there just for good structure, some are kids and some have been very ordinary at times. my priority would then be to play the likes of
Castagna, Drummond, Townsend, Butler, Short, Chol, McKenzie, Lambert, and Markov.

As stated if the likes of
Houli, Chaplin, Grigg, Batchelor, Vickery, Astbury, Hunt, Morris, B Ellis, Maric, A Moore were delisted or traded it would be a good thing. All bar one have been regulars all of them are players we must improve upon. All of these blokes have reached their ceiling, some are in real decline some have never been good enough.
These blokes are the cliff we keep falling off. We have our 5 or 6 top notchers, we have 5 or 6 promising kids doing enough to get a game and then we have that piss poor group.
