Unbeaten at home needs to be the go this season.

Correct me if I am wrong, but we only lost one home game last year and it was to Essendon, a game we should have won?

Let's just hope our fitness and conditioning coaches get our boys through the whole season.

I agree Daz. We seemed to have sooooo many soft tissue injuries last year. Even though we were able to cover them well, it would be nice to have a good run with injuries this year. Apparently that have done a lot of research in the offseason into our soft tissue stuff

We will be using double ply, industrial strength tissues this year. No more of this "soft tissue" stuff. Should be no snot on our boys, that for sure!!!

I hope you are right lol

Player management is the key, we have a wealth of quality players available for selection, if we rotate, sub, rest our list, we are a chance in all games.
Reading the pre-season reports it sounds like Ross is well aware of this, and Sandi will benefit the most, until reinforcements arrive.
Freo have replacements all over the park, similar to Geelong after 06, the kind of quality, depth, that makes other clubs jealous, nervous.

I actually agree, but it often seems that the sides with the most stable 22 do best in finals. A major part of that is injuries, but it also reflects clubs who are strong in their structures.

Geelong did a great job with managing Ottens early in the season, and resting him for interstate travel, then having him in-form at the business end of the season. Late in the season they were also able to give some time off to players with niggles. It is a good model for us to follow.
