In tribute to JackNah_8's 250, we absolutely smashed this one - with the lady of the day getting on the score sheet too. MrsEddieBetts set up the win with an incredibly dominant ruck display (21 hitouts, 21 disposals, 4 tackles, 2 goals), giving Mobbs (27 touches, 1 goal), Chezzalenko Reborn (24 touches, 7 tackles, 1 goal), SpecialBruce (22 touches, 3.2 goals), and fitzroybowiedog (18 touches, 2 tackles, 3.1 goals) the opportunity to get creative - and create a masterpiece they did. Mooch (5.1 goals) and TheGoatBaron (3.1 goals) led the troupe of 12 goalkickers in a savage forward display. Teacher's pet royboy2 got more free kicks (9) than handballs (8). Good going!

After a thrilling performance gets us to a 3-3 record, in the 8 and holding the 3rd best attack in the league, the last thing we should do now is take the foot off the accelerator. We've really got the momentum going now and I'm sure you're all, like me, chimping at the bit; desperate to get back on the field and tear next week's opponent apart. The form we're in, I really feel for those suckers. They are not going to know what hit them. Anyway, enough waffle from me. Well this was a return to form after the total non-even that was last week. We didn't even muster a scoring shot last week FFS. This week was a real breakout game for rookie Mobbs (29 disposals, 13 marks, 2 tackles). That kid might just make it in this league yet. 10 goals from TheGoatBaron (4.0) and Mooch (6.0) from 10 kicks summed up the efficiency in which the Roys killed off the Bears today. Pure Grunt with 27 touches, tigs2010 with 23, _Mike_ with 21 (plus a lazy 16 hitouts), and Ed_Gein with 19 ran the show. When we lost the ball, tigerish royboy2 (7 tackles) and Chezzalenko Reborn (6 tackles) got it straight back. SpecialBruce and 3KZ is Football snagged a couple of goals apiece to guarantee the points.

The season is shaping up nicely after a slow start. royboy2 most likely leading the comp in tackles - though he hasn't lifted his arms up to take a mark in 7 games. Pure Grunt (as well as being the kickiest player in the league) and Ed_Gein vying for the title of Dirty Roy with 12 fouls against each, while Dicky Fitzwell 's 30% accuracy in front of goal is probably because he is drunk as a skunk more often than not.

We're 2 wins from the top and up against the struggling Bombers next week. We all know it's high time this buble burst - a month without a loss? I mean, come on! - so let's head into that game with all the confidence of a Boyle on a lady hunt.
