just what the Geelong Cats reported and that was he did not have surgery but who knows with Geelong
I thought it was very obvious all along that the Cats were simply doing what was instructed to them by the AFL. You are trying to hang the Geelong Football Club on something that they were doing under instructions.
The fact it has come out he was stood down by the AFL instantly clearly shows all parties were aware and it was a planned approach to dealing with it.

It is ok to just admit you are wrong and move on, everyone here already thinks you are a so if might improve your standing if anything

They alleged the two men left the club with the complainant in her car and the assault happened in a Dan Murphy's car park in the nearby suburb of Belmont.

CCTV footage showed the woman leaving the strip club with the men at 4.17am and then her car arriving at the car park at 4.21am.

The alleged rape was not captured on the vision, but the woman's vehicle was seen leaving the area about 5am.

During a committal hearing in September, a male prosecution witness told the court the woman later admitted to lying in her police statement.

She told the man she had an agreement with Bruhn and Sinnott and it was consensual, but something happened she didn't agree with, the court heard.

He'd need to go civil like Depp did.

You could bring a private prosecution if the OPP won't, but the difference between that and a civil matter is there is no financial benefit if successful (and it is not that common to have all costs awarded, so would likely to be out of pocket still), but it would be the only means of having a criminal sanction imposed.

Oh please.

Her own friends (multiple witnesses) took to the stand testifying that she'd told them she was making it up to get money.

Any other interpretation is taking "I believe the woman" (itself a ludicrous stance) beyond all limits.

I didn't say I believe the woman.

I'm just saying that it looks like there's some misinterpretation of what was actually printed in the articles by a few people.

Surely this is the last word.

And for all the pearl-clutchers, don't worry:

It was made up and plenty of people in the legal industry know it. Take your "how's Tanner Bruhn's finger?" joke and your layman's misunderstanding of the law and jog along.

They removed him from the injury list and did exactly what I said, you can say I was right it’s ok to be wrong

How can you not see - given the way that case has ended - that your calls for more transparency were incredibly, ridiculously misplaced?
They did exactly what I said and removed him from the injury list it should not haven taken as long as it did but they did exactly what I said so I have no idea what you are going on about,

why did they remove him from the injury list at round 9 as opposed to round 8???? And don’t say his finger was better then

I’ve never said he was guilty so embarrassing

You've done nothing but imply and insinuate throughout the whole thread. It's clear that you've been desperately hoping for him to be guilty. Then when someone calls you on it you, lying coward that you are, retreat back to "well I never actually said..." as though people can't tell what you're up to.

Ignore listed.

You aren’t very bright, nearly all my comments have been in regards to the injury list nothing to do with whether he’s innocent or guilty

You mean his name was taken off the injury list the same week he returned to training - almost like he was over the injury that he suffered late in the pre-season and had carried into his only match for the year

You're wasting your time with that tool. Ignorelist and move on.

thats a long finger injury 10 weeks with it TBC the entire time

Since you seem to be so concerned about Geelong's injury list, any comments on Jed Bews who was out of action for 10 weeks due to his own finger injury that occurred before the season started? His early return time frame was 12 weeks

Back in 2007, Harley missed 6-7 weeks after a finger injury

So yeah, depending on the seriousness of the finger injury it can keep players sidelined for an extended period of time as you've got to wait for the finger to heal from any surgery and then get the movement back into it as tendon injuries aren't always a quick recovery

yeah one had surgery the other didnt

You'd love to think they'll also give him a cheer, but that's having too much faith in people I think.
What would they be cheering him for? Picking up a woman in a strip club for a questionable 4:30 am carpark threesome. Go Tanner!

It is a horrible thing he has been through, but he is still a very dodgy individual.

You have clearly lost the plot. Who really cares what you think you told everyone? Do you want some sort of award? It is entirely irrelevant to what has unfolded, and all you're doing is trying to muddy the waters.

You do know Tanner actually suffered a legitimate finger injury pre-season? Has it occurred to you that when he recovered from that the Club took him off the Injury list?

You are one of the keyboard warriors that Sam Edmund says should hold their head in shame!

I'd say an almost year long crusade including 150 posts in this thread about this very specific point re the listing of the finger injury shows the plot may have been lost from the beginning. An utterly bizarre fixation.

Sam Edmund - “For those asking the finger injury early on was legit, it was in a splint, but then after that they basically had no recourse to say anything about the player. Tanner had always protested his innocence."
