I have it on good authority that Jamison will play, and Bower also more than likely.

ep is a good enough authority, also.

There is though nothing to say that something can't go wrong between Thursday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

Considering the issues we've had with our talls this year, I have my fingers crossed.

Truth be told Kruz hasn't been a factor this year

Missed the first half of the season through injury and we were still flying 4th, since coming back has really struggled to find his feet and hasn't added much

However, looking for a full pre-season and an awesome 2012 from Kruz

Absolutely. A full pre-season into Waite and Kreuzer will go along way to rectifying so much that is wrong about our season this year. Might fix Curnow as well. Hopefully Hampson too.

I think Murphy was the standout example as to how important a pre-season is for a players development. He was ok for a while but missed two pre-seasons in a row. as soon as he got a pre-season in, he rapidly improved to where he is now. Theres no coincidence.

I love the big fella, but the truth is, apart from his first game back, he has not done much at all. Not potting him, just stating fact. And FWIW, I love that we have got some games into him.
Combined with the weather factor, may not be such a huge out for us this time around.
Best of luck to MK for a big preseason & 2012.

I operate on the "no glass" theory.

Whilst I agree that his form since returning hasn't been too flash I do think we will miss him. Just his presence on the ground causes opposition coaches to rethink their backline structure, they can't afford to not pay him attention which eases the pressure on those around him. You just can't leave a big guy unattended.

Don't think it's any coincidence that we were leading against the Saints til he went off and then our structure changed.

Kreuzer has not actually warranted a game for the last month and a bit. We have been hurt by playing two ruckmen who can not take a mark in the forward line with the 3 man bench. Our structure looks much better with a part time ruck/full forward and a genuine ruckman at the moment. If we win, it will have ment we played really well and will probably mean that no one gets dropped.

You don't pick the best 22 players avaliable, you pick a team based on structure and when finals comes you pick players based on what they have been doing and their fittnes, not their reputation or name.

Best to let Kreuzer go at his own pace and have him 100% ready to take next year at full pace.

Thought he played well enough last week to be retained for this weeks game.

Nothing to worry about with Jammo, he's fine.

I think we'll get past the Bombers easily actually.
I know they'll go in tall against us and hope but think we'll run them off their feet.

I'm really hoping Jeffy gets amougst it. Maybe even play him in the middle and use his pace. I would love to see him run from our half back and break the lines.

Last time they simply kicked goals nearly every entry. That won't happen again. Jammo and Hendo will knock it to the ground and let Yazz swoop onto it.

I think we need to be mindful of the opposition, in that Essendon won 11.5 games for the year, they are very much a borderline finals team and even missing two key players we still should be able to beat them.

Every game from here on will be very tough, West Coast won 17 games and are very under-rated, we will need a Waite or a Kruezer back against them or any of the other REAL contenders to have a real chance.

I think whilst O'Alphin is capable of playing the odd decent game he has never been able to put a sustained patch of good form together for long periods, he may play well or he could be totally non-existant, never sure what you may get with him.

russell is not fit and playing poorly. has lacked a hard physical edge to his game all year. Not worried about losing him. Hes a medium sized defender and we have a lot of depth here. No brainer why he isnt getting a game. Same situation with Bower, he's playing poorly and lacking fittness due to missing most of his footy over the last few years.

If you have a guy who is consistantly tearing it up in the VFL then you get worried. Idiots start rumors based on what things aren't, they spread and end up here.
