Yep if we really wanted clarko we should have made the decision when the club was 2-10 not in the last weekWatching Clarko's presser and Barham not even bothering to tap Clarko up weeks back speaks volumes about Barham's lack of judgement. Embarrassing.
Exactly that would show respect to Clarko and Rutten.Yep if we really wanted clarko we should have made the decision when the club was 2-10 not in the last week
Dunno if Clarkson is the answer for Essendon.
Multiple ‘failed‘ coaches and two decades of mediocrity tells me that the fish is rotting closer to the head.
Not well versed enough in their structures and/or wealthy power brokers who hold sway over the board, but IMO something is seriously off higher up in the food-chain that no new coach will fix.
If I remember correctly Worsfold alluded to something along these lines.
Excellent prognostications Dopemaster, we may make a man out of you yet.Kevin Sheedy should have nothing to do with the club anymore either, yet I read that he’s a significant driving force in the Clarkson chase.
He’s a legend of the club, but much like McGuire at the Pies, has reached a used by date and shouldn’t be let anywhere near the place IMO, lest the cycle continue.

Clowns the lot of them at board level and Barharm today just proved it.Exactly that would show respect to Clarko and Rutten.
I seriously don't get it, he's a failed coach, tried to cheat and ended up with a squad with soft tissue injuries, then came back after his suspension and had zero success, why would anyone want him as head coach? The funniest part of this whole sage is Robbo trying to grease the path for Hirdy to snake back into the club. What‘s wrong with that rotund, stammering, urine-scented drunk? Oh, all those things…

If he's a good boy they let him watch. What‘s wrong with that rotund, stammering, urine-scented drunk?
Watching the presser now, what an absute s**t show.
Surely you do a moch run with media coach first.
Barrett rarely gets anything right but he was right here. Several board members need to go. Once again if the external review is actually done professionally.Clowns the lot of them at board level and Barharm today just proved it.
I would be shocked to be sitting there listeningBecause none of that was his fault.
I'll be laughing when Hirdy tells his side of the story and you're going to feel like a *...
That the President hasn't found the time to speak to Rutten last few days says a bitYerp one of the worst damage control pressers I’ve ever seen.
To call it a dumpster fire would be disrespectful to dumpster fires everywhere
Too entitled and arrogant to think that someone would refuse them.I haven't seen the interview with the Essendon president but read a general summary.
My impression from the summary of the interview is they dragged Rutten through the mud in pursuit of Clarkson. Now that Clarkson has declined them they have NFI what to do now and need to come up with a plan on Sunday.
Not very encouraging as far as the Essendon admin goes.

Told y'all a while back SolomanWill take a punt, think the next coach of Essendon will be an ex Essendon player
