Can you please take your head out of the sand. He'll have players playing for him that's about it GWS players couldn't stop raving about Hird. if he was to coach the club needs to make him go through the process
Im asking for too much I knowCan you please take your head out of the sand.
With Hird and Essenden there is absolutely no process.

Yep he was very classless today, but to be fair he's not part of the club any more. I did chuckle though.Ron Joseph should take a lesson
lols how about the players look at them selves they are to blame for putting thier coach in this posistion due to being lazy and precious
I've been banging on about wanting Dodoro gone for years even when Sheedy wasn't around the club still couldn't rid of him now it's going to be next to imposible the bloke is a ****ing cockroach that's keeps survingIts obvious that Essendon do not have the cattle to match it with the big boys in the league at this current time.
The responsibility and onus must be on the board esp for giving Dodo carte Blanche to oversee 18 years of mediocrity (or whoever long he has been there)
The man is a loose cannon, he chased Dan Richardson away from the club, now it seems like he will Josh Mahoney too.
That is unfair. Its obvious that Essendon do not have the cattle to match it with the big boys in the league at this current time.

I was looking back at last years draft night and we must have been the only club where the head coach was not there.. No wonder Dodoroio is allowed to do what he wantsIts obvious that Essendon do not have the cattle to match it with the big boys in the league at this current time.

Does Robbo even read what he writes? Hird has had a nervous breakdown. The pressure and spotlight on him as senior coach is probably worst thing for him.OMG Robbo's still going, just put this up.
Barham smacked away Hird inquiries at his press conference, but he knows the lie of the land. He just chose not to say it.
Clarkson at North Melbourne will be a wonderful watch next season and, to be honest, he looks far better in the blue than he did in the brown and gold.
If Hird returns, it will be a fascinating watch.
This bloke almost died, was in a clinic, and has slowly rebuilt his life to the point where he is back in the coaches box at GWS.
The possibility of that being at Essendon next season is alive.
He's having a wet dream at the thought of Hird,McVeigh,Solomon back at the club and Sheedy is going to make it happen serioulsy Barham needs to be strong and push back hard but after watching him today I have no confidence he will get rid of this "jobs for the boys club" mentaly that's been holding us back for 20 yearsDoes Robbo even read what he writes? Hird has had a nervous breakdown. The pressure and spotlight on him as senior coach is probably worst thing for him.
The pressure and spotlight will be particularly intense considering what happened in the past.
tbf probably couldn't do any worse than what the current mob have dished up recently....
Agree, but sadly that is no longer possible as the last AFL coach to give his players a deserved spray (Noble), was later asked and remarkably agreed to apologise to them, you know because he may of hurt their feelings - and then of course we all know Justin Langer was apparently an absolute tyrant with our cricket boys and lost his job because of it..?lols how about the players look at them selves they are to blame for putting thier coach in this posistion due to being lazy and precious. who ever the next coach is i hope he's a tough bastard that's not affraid to put players in line if they don't listen or adhear to his instructions for too long players at our club ran the joint.
It's a fair call. I hate to draw another parallel with North, but you can't get the club right without getting the right leadership.Chaos no one would feel safe in their jobs right now.
As bad as this looks right now this is exaclty what the club needs maybe just maybe the club will finally get it's act together
Put them up for trade and do a proper rebuild. Other clubs will make good use of them if they are no longer committed. There is talent there.lols how about the players look at them selves they are to blame for putting thier coach in this posistion due to being lazy and precious. who ever the next coach is i hope he's a tough bastard that's not affraid to put players in line if they don't listen or adhear to his instructions for too long players at our club ran the joint.
I say it's a handful full of the senior players the youngsters seem finePut them up for trade and do a proper rebuild. Other clubs will make good use of them if they are no longer committed. There is talent there.
I don't think the players are the primary cause. Anyone who has worked in a toxic workplace know that it is really difficult to remain motivated.
said the same thing about Carlton. Nekminit Cerra, Hewitt etc. What a s**t show of a club, who on earth would want to go there? Everything about them stinks….filth.
On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app
always been jobs for the boysSerious question and not trying to troll but how long do Madden and Wellman get?
Jobs for life?
