As someone who captained a team for 3 seasons without ever attracting a penalty, it's a shame to see the standard is so low these days.

Please remember to include something that identifies your team (eg club logo) and correct Round number. Please refrain from posting team sheets until the previous rounds results have been posted.

At Season's end, this thread will then be rolled over into the Archives and serve as a summary of Season 33.

5A) Submission Rules

The deadline for team sheet submission is the Thursday 11:59 PM Melbourne Time before a match unless stated otherwise by the Administrator

• Team sheets must be displayed in a logical format that is comprehensible by the game simmers. Each positional line {e.g. B, HB, C, HF, F, Foll, INT} must be defined clearly and in case of positional changes the specific positions must be communicated in the listed changes. The only acceptable format is:

B: BP – FB – BP

HB: HBF – CHB – HBF

C: W – C – W

HF: HFF – CHF – HFF

F: FP – FF – FP

FOLL: RU – RR – RO

INT: INT – INT

NDs wording was pretty clear tbf, just people rushing through reading and not comprehending it

The word superfluent is used at one stage in the rules. It is a neat word that also could be applied to much of the preceding discussion.

It also can be misinterpreted, or misused in tortured puns. (I am showing my usual restraint.)

Fluency in English, or in this case it's absence, has emerged as a problem for the Committee and the Admin.

It seems a miscarriage of justice may have occurred because of literacy problems. This is not without irony, given one of the penalised individuals struggles with English as a First Language. Still it is to be hoped justice prevails.

The lessons are clear. "Grunt" is not a language. Clear and concise English should be used by the Admin and Committee.
