There was also a short interview on Ch10 news. Powell said he felt in the best shape of his career and was looking forward to playing some good footy next year. GT commented that Powell would add a lot of strength to the midfield brigade of Harvey, Thompson, Hayes and Black.

Just Wondering if anyone has herd what sort of money was put on the table or was it just the security of a 3 year deal that got Powelly over to the Sainters?

BTW when he is on he is on and is almost unstoppable with centre clearences when firing, quick clearences put defenders off guard for that slpit second which will suit that little sneak Milne.

apparently the money was the same as Melbourne were offering, the extra years security being the deciding factor.

Yeh great work aints im a staunch eagle supporter but i personally think that the saints are one of the most exciting teams in the afl and will yield a premiership ppl very soon
