Has done tendon damage to the big toe, surgery not required but will wear a moon boot for the next 2 weeks.

You will be unpredictable for a few weeks, worked for Hawthorn.

While our ruck stocks are limited, it always helps when you know what you're preparing against.

Kewl story

Interesting to see that an injury to sandi hasnt got as many people panicking compared to if it was another backman/mid. May have something to with the fact we have griff to back him up. But still hes the best ruck in the comp and integral to our side. Its reminding me of when a lesser player gets injured

I think most people are just numbed by the constant succession of injuries.

Sandilands is irreplaceable, but we at least have depth there. I am confident of Clarke and/or Griffin acquitting themselves well in the next couple of weeks.

Foot problems for big men are bad news. Hope they treat it with caution and make sure its okay.

A few tough weeks coming up. He would of been a big advantage against the Saints and Hawks (both with average ruckman).

Bring in Clarke/Griffo.

Just keep him rested. I thought it might be 2 weeks - 3 at worst

4 weeks is depressing :(

Essendon are probably our biggest threat as far as the ruck goes - Clarke/Griff/Bradley/Johnno/SNOS (if he returns) should be able to tackle the Saints, Hawthorn, Essendon and Melborune - I do worry about Jamar though

Interesting to see which way the selection committee go now. You'd think we need both ruckmen to come in to replace him - we're going to lose too much in the middle if Kep has to ruck for a significant amount of time, not to mention we'll miss his influence up forward.

But to fit both in we're going to have to drop a tall. Could this finally result in a stint in the WAFL for MJ, even though he just had his best game of the season? Problem with that of course is we would need someone like Robbo to step up and take that 3rd tall in the oppo's forward line.

Yeah, bit of a silver lining. Griffin in our squad and Sandilands gets a rest which is good for the pointy end of the season..

Bad news, but I got the feeling Harves would have rested Sandi at some point anyway to give Griffin/Clarke a run.

Could just about stick a fork in the Hawks game in a couple of weeks though. Send out the B - team again? :p

HUGE blow and will really test our team. Although im pretty excited to see Zac/Griff get a go at it. Will give the team huge confidence if we can win a few without Sandi and prove we can win without him.

Three journalists involved in writing this for "The Worst" and the word "toe" isn't spelled correctly in the first sentence...Hacks.

Apart from that ...think Zac will come in against Saints...
