I'll try to update what happens with the Maggies list in this post & thread.

Re-signed:
Cam Sutcliffe - Captain who played 16 games and kicked 8 goals in 2022 as a mid/fwd.
Nick Moore (Port District) - Tough inside midfielder who led the league in tackles, played 17 games and kicked 7 goals in 2022.
Jake Weidemann - KPF/KPD who played 16 games in 2022.
Anthony Wilson (Pembroke) - Winger/Small Forward who played 13 games and kicked 12 goals in 2022.
Brayden Kirk (Crystal Brook) - Forward/Def who played 12 games in 2022.
Campbell Wildman (Prince Alfred OC) - Winger/Half Back who played 10 games in 2022.
Jackson Lee (Brinkworth Spalding Redhill) - 189cm defender who played 7 games in 2022.
Aidan Turner (Moonta) - Forward/Mid who played 5 games in 2022.
Oliver Cheesman (Unley Jets) - Midfielder who played 3 games in 2022.
Miller Carter (Moonta) - Defender who played 3 games in 2022.

Murphy Short (CMS Crows) - 23 year old signs from CMS Crows where he won 3 straight B&Fs, and 2 straight YPFL medals.
Harper Montgomery (North Adelaide Reserves) - Son of Brett Montgomery, Played 3 games in 2022 while on loan to Port Adelaide, from North Adel's U18s, signs as a father-son.
Will Francou (North Adelaide Reserves) - Son of Josh Francou, signs as a father-son from North Adelaide's U18s.
Preston Cockatoo-Collins (Port Districts) - 186cm wing/half forward/half back. Son of Che Cockatoo-Collins, signs as father-son from North Adelaide's U18s.
Brodie Motlop (Port Districts) - Son of Shannon Motlop, Nephew of Steven and Daniel Motlop, From North Adelaide U18s.
Jed Hagan - 18 year old signs from East Fremantle, 175cm small utility that played 8 WAFL games in 2022.
Will Ferrari (Old Ignatians) - From Sturts U18s.
Hugh Ferrari (Old Ignatians) - From Sturts U18s.
Cody Szust (Lobethal) - From Port Melbourne in the VFL. Played 16 games and kicked 19 goals last season.
Ethan Miller (Unley Jets) - Played reserves footy for WWT Eagles in 2019. 192cm.
Charlie McArthur (Goodwood Saints) - From Goodwood Saints.

Despite our SANFL list being pretty big already, it looks like the club are looking to bring some new players in. With talks already beginning.

Must admit didn't realise we have that many coaches. Makes sense but still a little shocked

TBH I have never heard of many of these players. Sounds like most of them were players with potential who for some reason did not make it. The exception was Zane Kirkwood who the SANFL stole from us.

Good to see that the Port Magpies are tidying up the list. It would be nice to get some more experience to draw upon if we have another season like the last one but I guess we work to the rules imposed by the SANFL Gestapo.
