Did Mcintyre play?
Nick Gill kicked 4 goals vs South today and a couple of points to go with it. Most probably took around about 7 or 8 marks.

As good as he is at SANFL level I seriously hope we don’t upgrade Archard. If we do it simply means we have to delist another player, and I’m struggling to think of 4 as it is.

How many games did Terry Pratchett play?
Nick Gill kicked 4 goals vs South today and a couple of points to go with it. Most probably took around about 7 or 8 marks. Archard according to the radio had 18 possessions and kicked 1 goal.
Archard didn't really get much of a look in today as North dominated the midfield, especially Jimmy Allan who would have racked up 40+ touches.
I read on SAFooty that Allan had 32 touches in the first half, how accurate that is I don't know but I said after the game he would have had at least 40 for the game.
He is a big chance to win the Magarey.

I just read that then in Zac Milbank's article in the media section of the Roost as well. I knew he had a lot of it but 32 in a half is staggering.

No endurance. He only finished with 46 ...![]()
You could see how knackered he was in the last quarter and apparently he spent a lot of the half time break spewing his guts as well.

Maric finding form
Ruckman Ivan Maric has played his best SANFL game since returning from hip surgery.
Maric had 11 possessions and 26 hit-outs to be high among Port Adelaide Magpies’ best players in their draw with Glenelg at Alberton Oval on Saturday. His work in the ruck was outstanding and his confidence appears to be back after missing more than two months of football through his injury.
Several other Crows rated highly for their SANFL clubs.
Richard Douglas was prominent for Glenelg, earning 20 possessions and kicking two goals.
Nick Gill, who missed the past two games with a sore Achilles, booted 4.2 for North Adelaide and Bernie Vince again performed well for the Eagles, collecting 25 possessions in the midfield.
James Sellar also showed some promising signs as a forward/ruckman for Glenelg, kicking two goals while John Hinge had a busy day running with Port’s Jeremy Clayton and then copped a whack to the throat late in the game.
Darren Pfeiffer had 18 possessions in his first game for Norwood since recovering from illness, Greg Gallman was competitive in defence for North and South midfielder Rhys Archard earned 18 possessions in a losing team.
John Meesen’s comeback from a serious knee injury took another step in the SANFL reserves for Norwood. The young ruckman had 26 possessions and 21 hit-outs.
Rookie-listed James Turner was among South’s best in the reserves and Andrew McIntyre played his first game since hurting an ankle two months ago, appearing for a half in North’s reserves.
