Quick let's do something! There onto us! Let's pull out the nuclear power rubbish so our coal buddies can pivot to nuclear and keep their billions of $.
Never mind that fact that it's dangerous and would increase the deficit and waste billions of tax payers money #madness.

"In the Coalition party room, Nationals senator Sam McMahon announced an intention to move an amendment to the EPBC Act to allow for nuclear power, which is currently banned in Australia.

That contribution was supported by Nationals senator Matt Canavan"

Lol

And in US history, who decides when it was a skirmish, and when it was a battle? That wasn't a battle, there was a skirmish, and then we did a tactical retreat. We were going to take that position, but then we thought better of it, no way was it a battle. If you lose a position, and later on, get it back, did you lose a battle, then win one, or was their 1 battle, you won. The Tet offensive was a military disaster for the NVA, but they did take control of some cities. They took control of cities, but didn't win a battle? No doubt it was a tactical withdrawal, not a defeat? Or does the fact they were later pushed out negate it.

That Vietnamese military history of the war sucks doesn't mean the American version is therefore good. Both can suck.
A battle is an occurrence of combat in warfare between opposing military units of any number or size. A war usually consists of multiple battles. In general, a battle is a military engagement that is well defined in duration, area, and force commitment.[1] An engagement with only limited commitment between the forces and without decisive results is sometimes called a skirmish.

The technology Morrison is talking about doesn't exist yet and he's too stupid to realise that we need action now.

Stupid, we know that. Conflicted, definitely.

The ALP hasn't shown near enough gumption on this lately.

Its consumers & Investors (long term thinkers, not 3 year election cycle panic merchants) who've led the way.

This but laboring is getting ridiculous. We need to get LNP out of government, before a serious discussion can even be had.

The whole system is broken. The Liberals and Murdoch are simply waiting to wedge Labor. Even this mornings press conference got reduced to regional Aussie jobs (and graffiti). Labor are already wedged - there is no debate.

Given there are a number of inferred understandings of "secular", do you?

I prefer the term "pluralist".

Which rules concocted by religious lunatics do you want removed, that haven't already been?

The murder one? The theft one?
Few more rules ive thought if - tax free status - theres a few billion a year to the treasury.

You are currently propagating the Murdoch narrative.

Why shouldn’t they have tax free status? And where do you get the “few billion”?

And what’s the relevance of the LGBT tweet?

Why should they be excluded? The church is a money making business with their fingers in pies everywhere?

<<< Guess how much money the combined churches in Australia make in one year.

I’ll give you a hint – it’s a truckload of cash.

Over $30 billion.

The Catholic Church owns over half of that – they make $16 billion a year.

Their wealth grows every year.

Some people refer to this hidden windfall as the ‘the purple economy’.

It’s a shocking amount of money.

You’re probably astounded by this figure. The average Australian thinks most or all churches are close to broke. It’s an all-too-common misconception.>>>

Re Trans folk: Theyve been excluded from being counted in the census - you know, that thing we use to plan the future of our country.

Maybe we should remove c5% of Ricky Ponting's innings from his record because we didn't like the way he got out.

Is the $16 billion (or $30 billion) turnover or profit?

If it's profit, then yep, it should be subject to appropriate taxation.

Equally that should be applied to Trade Unions who, somehow, get away with tax exemptions for revenue generated through non members.

I doubt that the representation or otherwise of transgender issues in this year's census has anything to do with any churches.

Albo going nuts in QT about the Government's inadequate response to Covid and the fact some of the Liberal ministers are posting dangerous mistruths about Covid on social media, and ScoMo is walking around and sitting with his back turned to him.

Absolutely disgraceful.

Tony Smith looks to have a weight off his shoulders too now that he's announced he's not recontesting. He seems more disinclined to put up with Morrison's shit.

Greg Hunt on the Today Show this morning: "NSW have done everything in their power to contain the virus."

After he gets voted out at the next election, he should go into stand-up comedy with zingers like that.

He's an anal wart that guy.

ScoMo claiming his Government are for unifying the country.

I guess calling Covid the Victorian virus and constantly berating Labor state leaders for closing borders and locking down while praising up NSW at every opportunity over the last 12 months was really helping unite the country.

The only thing they are doing is to unite the country on voting their arses out at the next election.
