The final siren sounds ending a 13 year premiership drought for the Roys. They overcome the brave Swamprats in an epic struggle by 26 points. A margin that really did the game no justice at all. It was a hard fought victory that is truly well deserved. For the Swamprats, commiserations it was an incredible run from 1-7 to make it this far but they just fell short in the end.

Now it's time to present the Deestroy Medal for best on ground in the grand final, and the votes are as follows...
