Welcome to the Official Sweet FA tipping competition for season 35. Let’s try and get a vibrant competition going this season with competitors from as many clubs as possible with this a great place for some rookies and sophomores here to make their mark and dip their toe into the board.

If we hit 25+ competitors (that’s only two per club), the mods may throw in a FREE year of premium platinum membership for the winner!

Last season 3KZ is Football narrowly edged out Supercheapgiants for the title, can you go better?

The rules:
• The comp runs for all home and away games, not finals.
• The match of the round each week will have a margin that you can specify.
• Tips need to be in by 11.59pm (Melbourne time) Thursday night.
• Draws are not an acceptable tip (nor are riddles)- you are tipping a winner for each match. Happy for people to tip weeks or the whole season in advance.
• The weekly tipping winner can choose the avatar for the player who tips the worst for that round, assuming the loser isn't a squib. The avatar should be kept until the conclusion of the following rounds matches.
• If you forget, you will get all away team tips minus one (so if three away teams win, you score two) and a margin of 99. SO GET YOUR BLOODY TIPS IN!

The winner:
• The contestant with the most correct tips (or closest to the margin in a tie) wins and receives a lovely badge

• You may also look smug around your fellow tipsters- here’s a face I prepared earlier as an example:
