Great year from Brock. McLean, Moloney, Miller IMO are the future of our club and McLean really stepped up this year in the midfield. Needs next year to become a bit more consistent at times as he is prone to going missing. Will win a brownlow in the future, got 3 votes in 3 games this year.

Possible future captain.

7.5/10

Nice work on all the reviews YC.
'Chooka' will be a great player for the MFC. IMO will probably be our best in and under player in the future. Also it was 9 votes in 3 games :D .

mclean is a superstar, hes a chance of a future brownlow...

consistancy is the key. without it the team won't be successful. we sore that this year with bruce, although he was cut down with injury when he was in steller form when he came back he wasn't consistant enough. much like green, he can turn a game on its head but he doesn't do it enought imo. i love brock he's a great player i just hope he and hte likes can pick up the consistancy aspect and guve the finals a real shake down this coming season.

McLean's Future: An excellent year for the youngster, and a very sound improvement on his debut season which was quite promising. In 2005, McLean showed he is capable of playing in the midfield at senior level and excelled several times, resulting in 3 best on grounds in the Brownlow Medal, including an astonishing 13 tackle performance against eventual premiers Sydney and a fourth placing in the NAB Rising Star Award. McLean is one of the players who will lead Melbourne in the future - there is no doubt about that. But looking towards 2006, here is what he should aim to achieve. He should try to minimise the amount of games where he has less than 15 possessions. Out of 20 games this year, 10 of those resulted in less than 15 possessions. He is a top tackler and proved that by gaining an impressive 63 tackles. If that can be lifted to +80, then he will be even more valuable for the team. And last but not least, the most damaging aspect of any player is their ability to kick goals. He kicked 5.4 goals in 2004 and 6.3 goals in 2005. If he can get 10-15 goals next season, then that will be another big positive.
