Ruggles gets a $1k fine and Hodge and Lewis are let off? Are you serious? Rioli dropped to the ground faking it. It was a tap from Ruggles. Meanwhile, Hodge punches Selwood in the liver, closed fist, and Lewis uppercuts him and ... nothing to see here.

I mean, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't really matter but how anyone can look at those three incidents and grade them differently is absurd. If you fine one, you have to fine the other two. I lend myself more to the MRP being incompetent rather than corrupt but baffling decisions like that will sway people to believe in the conspiratorial. It's ludicrous.

I am both not surprised AND ****ing shocked at the Ruggles/Hodge/Lewis decision.
The MRP inconsistency drives me mad and is a clear first on the list of things that most upset me about this sport.

Today on SEN with Andy and Robbo, caller called into indicate the unevenness of the MRP and that if Ruggles got a penalty and none of Lewis, Hodge or Mitchell got a fine then it showed why Hawks think they can get away with sniping to which Andy and Robbo got very hot at the notion that any of these three are anything but 'courageous' competitors. I tell you what I thought Joel not reacting was the best thing and he may have sucked 'hodgey' into a free kick and infuriated him to give the fifty away.

There are not too many other people around who believe that they aren't snipers; there were at least five random people who thought so. The guy in the red jacket who went on about Lewis, good on ya.

Cannot believe the blatant corruption! Ruggles cops a fine, but Hodge and Lewis don't. Cyril's delayed reaction to Ruggles' hit is evidence he was playing it up. Lewis' hit on Joel sent him backwards. Neutrals are calling this out too, so it's not just me and my Geelong coloured glasses.
