What's sad is I can never see Craig playing the kids like that due to his 'always trying to make the finals no matter what' mentality. Yes making the finals is a good thing, but if we're going to be any good in the next couple of years we need to give the young players as much time as possible.. It's clear we're going nowhere this year, so we might as well get something out of it and play the youngsters...

Really hard to comment on the game as Ive only listened to it on the radio... but so very disappointing. Port wanted it more. Maybe my hubby is right and we ARE mentally soft. Sigh.

Adelaide needs to make a serious play for a gun forward, i.e. Roughhead.

Plenty of the ball inside 50 today, but, no one to kick it to!

Macca's last season, poor bugger is stuffed. Did Moran play? Didn't notice him at all.

Jericho is A WINGMAN. He is not a forward player. Played out of possie all the time.

Yep, our defenders were good, yet again our forwards (I think we had a few here and there) just didn't want to keep the ball in. There was no pressure at all.

I'd love it when Schwerdt was telling Bassett and the defenders to improve their body language and move it on quicker - to which Bassett said something along the lines of, "How about telling everybody else to do the same thing?"

Our defence, on the whole, was very good. Bock was solid, Truck was good, Bass was fantastic.

Stiffy's kick-ins are definitely an issue at the moment.

Johncock's kick ins have been terrible lately. Against Geelong they were absolutely woeful.

Its been said before and it seems it has to be said again, Jericho and Campbell aren't fit for AFL football. Moran showed enough that I think we can give him a few more games.

McLeod definitely wasn't right, despite the hard tag from Kane he just wasn't able to get into the game at all.

van Berlo, Knights, Symes, Doughty were all good. Our defence was mostly solid throughout the day. Maric was excellent.

Definitely time to bring in more kids. Walker needs to play, hell bring Sellar in as well.
