It was funny watching all the panellists on the Sunday footy show picking Port to win this game comfortably. I know that showdowns often go down to the wire but Port have smashed Melbourne and GWS. How can anybody who knows anything about football think this is some kind of barometer for form? I guess I shouldn't expect so much from Victorian football media. They clearly don't even watch our teams play.

Yeah they obviously know nothing about footy.

But seriously, bad luck all, was a good contest and went down to the wire. Commiserations.




Aaaand back to the banter... the most delicious part of todays game was the crow players celebrations when they kicked four and five goals clear. Thought they had it won already and started carrying on like pork chops. Can't wait to watch the replay and have a chuckle.

I really wish commentators that have obvious team allegiances didn't comentate those particular games. Dwayne was aggravating. Watson on friday night was bad. Everyone remembers how annoying Eddie was in the box for Collingwood games.

Well I was just letting you know that Dwayne let us know all about him... He certainly said his name enough times during the broadcast to suggest that he certainly thought the Showdown medal should go to him as well - I wasn't having a go at you or suggesting anything other than what I wrote.
