I was kind of surprised to hear that we are only 1 showdown win behind them.

I know we built up a big lead in the Choco years but it feels like that had been well blitzed over the last 10 years.

Just discovered the game is on FTA here (and in Sydney) - it wasn't listed as such earlier in the week. Perhaps the new broadcasting agreement restored the old "a game on Saturday and Sunday and all the GWS & Sydney games" we used to get. That makes 5 games on live FTA here this weekend. Not too shabby, if you can just forget you have to watch Channel 7

On AFL website the broadcasters are only accurate if you set your region for Melbourne to discover which games are produced by 7 for the first few rounds, and therefore are on 7 unless the WA,SA,NSW and Qld home state teams broadcast means 7 are showing another competing game in that state.

Reckon most of us are.......... it's just the way it is.

Carn Ports ya betta bloody well win or we'll have to put up with Ch7 dancing on our grave all bloody week n none of us deserve that.

Whilst we're Port on the scoreboard we all know it's the Maggies play'n tonight 'n' we bow to no-one anywhere anytime.

Even after Chocolate, we did alright for a few years. Primus managed to win 2 of 5. Hinkley won 4 of his first 5. But we've only won 2 of 9 since the Walsh Showdown.
