I rate Mayne. He'd get a game in the Eagles' team ahead of Darling, who was recuited because the Eagles coaching panel watched a Fremantle game, saw Chris Mayne applying some serious forward pressure and thought: "That's a nifty trick."
I really hope you're trolling. How is that a troll? His DE this year is 58% thats well below average.

Mayne: 15th in the league for tackles so far this year with 19, 11 scoring shots, 20 marks. Good stats for a guy who plays as a leading HFF and whose role is to apply pressure and prevent the HBF getting a quick break after a turnover.
Don't make me laugh saying Ebert and Masten are better/more important.
Patronij1 has clearly embarrassed herself in this thread... Mayne is a gun. I cannot actually believe there are people out that there that compare him to McGinnity
And Fyfe featuring prominently in AFLCA award voting once again this weekend. Keep in mind as well that he is 19 (15 months younger than Schuey) and built like a twig![]()
You're either stupid for thinking that stat is relevant, or realise how ridiculous is it and trolling.58% disposal efficiency which is what fyfe has this year which is statistically below average. How is stating that a troll?
These two are far better players than mayne.

Either one.
You say that Eber & Masten are better than Mayne but carry on about DE %. Masten chops to ribbons just about every footy he gets, he is a butcher of the highest order.
No it isn't.The stat is very relevant when comparing disposal between players of similar positions and kick/handball ratios
Thinking mayne is a gun is embarrassing and delusional. He plays a role in your team just like Mginnity does for the eagles that is all. That does not in any way make either of them good players. If mayne was at the eagles i would not want him to get a game. Just like i dont want mginnihack to get one either.
We really should stop this banter. Its irrelevant to the thread agree to disagree. Your point about fyfe being younger and less built is something to consider in comparing the two. I could also argue that shuey has played a lot less games, has been impacted heavily by injury and has not gotten his fitness levels up to that of fyfe's as yet.
Watch him closely in the derby because it's clear you've never watched him properly
instead of looking at stats maybe watch a few games.....you are cluelessMastens DE this year is currently 100%... admittedly from 5 possessions but his disposal was very good in the preseason and has improved very much from last year. Shows what you know. Ebert is the butcher of the ball but even he has improved his disposal this year. This is all completely irrelevant to the thread.
The thread is about fyfe and shuey. Atm shuey's disposal is obviously better and that is an area that fyfe needs to work on.

No it isn't.
Mayne is one of our first picked and we have a lot better side than youWatch him closely in the derby because it's clear you've never watched him properly

1- Disposal efficiency doesn't take into account the difficulty of the kick. For example, Didak often has a disposal efficiency lower than most on the Collingwood team (yes, even similar position players) because he tries the lower percentage plays. I think most can agree he's clearly the best kick on the Collingwood team though.great rebuttle. care to elaborate?
I agree with this. Definitely better than McKinley, but Darling is clearly a better prospect.Mayne is a good player. But by no means a 'gun'.
Seems a bit selfish around goals though and doesnt always take the right option in the F50. Reminds me of a much better version of McKinley (ie. more agile and chases, good mark for his size, decent kick).
From what I've seen of Darling so far, would prefer Darling over Mayne though for sure.
