PSP signing period has finished with 7 players moving clubs.

Clubs that lost players will find out what compensation they’ll receive tomorrow.

Friday 10 March the sign & trade period opens & will close at 5pm on Monday 20 March.
Did I miss something or has compo still not been decided?

It's not just my imagination, right? They did say they were going to announce the compensation last week, didn't they?

There's been not a peep since.

"Some clubs have been hit hard by the PSP and eagerly await Friday's compensation announcement, while others have slid by unscathed."

If by "they" you mean the AFL rather than a reporter, then yeah you did imagine it. One source says this, another source says that.

"The remaining 14 clubs can sign and trade for players from Friday, with those that lost PSP players eligible for compensation from the league at the end of the trade period."

Or you could just assume "determined" = "announced" and get mad when that assumption is revealed to be misguided, which evidently is what some people have chosen to do.

"Get mad" is overstating things a bit, but I think it's pretty reasonable to expect that the compensation will be announced given that every other part of the process is announced.

I'm assuming the reporters didn't just make up the date. It's pretty clear they communicate with the AFL given that they routinely publish information that is not known anywhere else.

Let's call a spade a spade here, the AFL indicated a date to announce the compensation, and didn't follow through. It's not the first time and won't be the last. Is it a big deal? Not really, especially since the amount of compensation provided is likely to be minimal anyway. Is it unprofessional? Yes.

Different reporters have reported different dates. So which reporters are you assuming didn't assume the same thing you assumed about the announcement date?

COURTNEY Jones and Maddy Brancatisano has completed a straight swap, with Jones now at Richmond and Brancatisano at Gold Coast.

Not sure if it belongs here or not, but the Crows have signed a rookie from the US (originally from South Australia though):

Played college basketball for three years, but is not tall (165cm) and previously played midfield for the U16s in SA.

Geelong Cats have welcomed Kate Surman to the Club in a trade with Port Adelaide that will see defender Maddy Keryk and Pick 12 head to the Power.

NORTH Melbourne has landed Hawthorn defender Eliza Shannon in a trade.

Shannon was an overage signing during the Hawks' initial list build last year, plucked out of Hawthorn's VFLW program. The 23-year-old also spent some time plying her trade in the Northern Territory Football League before reaching AFLW level.
