Comes across as pretty mature in the article and being coach of Mullewa indicates some level of responsibility, I still have the hope he can one day make it even if it's a bit misplaced and tinged with romanticism. Horrible thing to happen of course but he'll grow as a person due to it.

Hugely unfortunate stuff.

But he's always come across very well, I like seeing what he has to say, and it's very touching that all he cares about was losing a photo of his brother.

Good young fella is Josh, I hope his life goes well from here.

Thanks, basashi for posting this. Terrible news, but Josh really seems to be putting things in perspective. Heartwarming to see a couple of things -- his neighbor tried to put the fire out before firefighters arrived; Josh's saying the possession he most regrets losing is a photo of his late brother. I am so barracking for this kid. More than anything, glad his partner and toddlers escaped unhurt.

Josh just can't get an even break but like everyone else I'm glad that no one was hurt . Possessions can always be replaced .
He has certainly matured and grown as a man .
I would love to see him get another chance at AFL even if its not at Freo .
