Every one of these first impressions articles I read makes me want this game even more. This is probably the most enticing one of the lot, so far.

...and I love the look of the Dark Elves. I'll probably end up being one of them, again.

I reckon I'll be either a Khajiit, as I usually go, or an Argonian or Dark Elf.

Played Oblivion for a while. I loved the open world but it was unfortunately a bit too generic and repetitive. Hopefully now with a map that's the same size but much more variety it will be more fun

Yeah, I preferred Morrowind to Oblivion for that reason.

You had this sense of discovery and achievement whenever you traveled to a new location and actually felt like you were somewhere else.

In Oblivion everything was too accessible and generic.

It's only a camera view, it's every bit action RPG in nature.

I am amazed by the vids of this game I will definitely pick it up. However I think the tiger head race looks a bit too stupid.

That's fine, because Skyrim (and all other modern ES games) give you the choice of playing in third person.

I completely forgot about my pre-order for this, now I need to scrounge some money together to pay it off.
So pumped for the release. No outside time for me for a few months .

I've got a pre order with both JB and HN, if JB have Skyrim for $79 on release and they refuse to give me the bonus map and guide unless I pay $109 I'll cancel and pick up my pre order with HN and get a bonus map and poster for $78.
