Funny, yes, traditional, yes to bag Jason Cloke for anything and everything, but he's not really that slow at all, he's actually reasonably fast for his size.

McGough is by far and away the slowest player I've ever seen on a footy field, and when you're that slow, and can't kick, how the hell are you supposed to move the ball upfield?

'Spider' Burton was one of the less abled running players on the field. And Robert Harvey isn't as quick as some people think, its just his agility and evasiveness make him impossible to grab. I'm not saying hes anywhere near the slowest though.

He aint quick but he never get's left in someone shadow, deffinatly quick enough, and his acceleration has always been very good.

Not only his his leg speed terribly slow, his acceleration is even worse.

Then comes his brain. Not talking about his intelligence off-field, but he would easily be the slowest thinker I've seen on a footy ground.

Get yourself a tape of any game from 1996 through to the first half of 1999 and see how quick Robert Harvey was.

He was a freak - people forget that.

Greg Williams was the slowest player out there but also an alltime great and the fastest where it counts. So whats the point of this thread other than to show the sensitivities of some fans who can't stand valid criticism?
