Slowest player in the AFL

ling is one of the slowest unfit looking players on the ground but he very rarely gets caught, whereas you see someone like david clarke who is unbelievably quick who gets caught alot. It all comes down to how football smart the player is, like a few have said look at greg williams.

Lloyd ofcourse!

.... Oh wait! You meant speed didn't you?
Atleast Lloyd can string more then five words together, unlike fevola. He can also look as if he has some sort of interest in an interview instead of showing the blank and thoughtless expression that most the carlton players show.

Fev can string plenty of words together. His problem is he says too much, as seen on the 'footy show'. But that's why he's entertaining, he speaks so much crap :D. Lloyd however, is nearly brain dead. Where do you get off saying Fevola is dumber than Lloyd?

Lloyd IMO is the most painful footballer to listen to speaking in the AFL. Fevola says dumb stuff, but he doesn't almost put me to sleep like Lloyd does.

Of the actual slowest players as opposed to the thickest, then Whitnall definitely does not have a turn of speed (but can still find himself in plenty of space when he's on his game.)
From other clubs Ling and McGough strike me as being none too fleet of foot.

Ben Holland - When he was at Richmond me & my mates didn't call him 'cement legs' for nothing. He goes up and down on the spot.

We'd glady give him back to you for nothing. Anything including nothing is better than that hack.

Trent Knobel would have to be top 2.

Not only his his leg speed terribly slow, his acceleration is even worse.

Then comes his brain. Not talking about his intelligence off-field, but he would easily be the slowest thinker I've seen on a footy ground.
saints supporters are still hurting losing their only ruckman i see

Was McKee, now....maybe Nobel?

Non-ruckman I'd have to nominate Woewodin. I'm sure he's not actually that slow, but ******** me he looks it on occasions.
probably is a bit slow.. not as slow as others but covers alot of ground on the field and is very fit.

Johnson from Carlton and Mitchell from Hawthorn.
Get realistic...Mitchell may be slow for a guy that plays in the middle, but he's not even the slowest on the Hawthorn club. When's the last time Richo was timed in a sprint with a clock that had a second hand?
