Sadly Hampton won’t get 2 sides up
Hoping to drop to 4th Div with just a senior side
That’s a shame I’m hearing a few sides are struggling for numbers in there 2s a lot can’t be bothered or have work or retired after covid it seems don’t think the league will let them go to Div 4 been a few sides over the years that wanted to and they didn’t so will someone come up or a 9 team comp if they do

League supportive of Hamptons move to Div 4. It’s either that or they have a 12 month break and current players are given permits to other teams in the event the want to play football in 2022.

Great coaching panel, just need an influx of 10-12 more players.

Will Murrumbeena request to come back up to Div 2 if Hampton go down or remain in Div 3?

The Doves will be be at the pointy end of the season for sure, Hampton Park will be 5-6, the ROC/Hampton Park pissing contest was entertaining for a minute but now a mute issue, Good luck to the Doves, Redbacks and ohh, the Kanga's that are in the other league, they'll definitely need plenty of luck after watching Narre vs Pakenham last night.

2nd division looks as strong and even as I’ve seen it
See 7 sides aiming for finals
My guess
Doveton
C Heights
Caulfield
Keysborogh
East Bri

Hampton Park
Highett
Skye

Heverton

How was Highett? We’re they good, played above themselves or EB just got a little ahead of themselves? Combination of all of the above? At least with them winning it throws up another potential contender. Saw the scores in the reserves though, so obviously don’t have much depth?

Highett very well organised
East Bri were made to look 2nd rate
Top 5 gonna be a real contest

Highett had more than 20 unavailable on the weekend for various reasons. Not missing much of the top end, but massive impact on the reserves. EB actually looked very good in the 2s.

A couple of rounds into the season and it looks like Doveton are the firm favourites with Chelsea Hts and Keysborough as their main challengers. EB, Highett and Caulfield to battle it out for the remaining 2 spots in the 5.
Skye we’re quite competitive in their last match so I think they have Heatherton covered in the relegation stakes.

Been quiet here. How's it shaping up? Doveton look certainties for the flag. Caulfield seem to have gotten their groove on recently while Highett have dropped off. Heatherton seem to be dead and buried and lost spoonbowl by 100 points to the winless Skye. Much else happening?

Doves are no certainty even tho they haven’t dropped a game yet maybe Keysie or Heights can get them

Word is that Heatherton (who will come last) will still be in D2 next year, Due to Hampton pulling the pin and only 9 currently in D2. If that’s the case drop the Tunners and promote 2 from D3. Heatherton have been plodding in D2 for a good 10yrs now (with the exception of 1 year- 2018 when the played D3…..and we’re still no good). For the sake of the division and their club they need to drop down.
