Clayton to take the year with a powerhouse side?
Much of a rise from Doveton?
How will the St. John’s lads go in Southern?

No idea about Clayton or Doveton Eagles, but think St John's should be very competitive.

I saw St John's last year and also watched the Div 4 GF, and think either of the GF sides would have beaten St John's by about 4-5 goals (from what I saw on the day). St John's aren't that skilful but have a strong home ground advantage (though maybe less so when playing against near neighbours) and play a grinding style that drags their opponents down to their level. Unless there are major moves over the off season, think they will make the four and be a genuine chance for the flag.

Very much looking forward to seeing St John's in Div 4. This year, everyone who was not sh!t made the four by default. Having a fifth finals contender will add interest.

3 of Moorabbin's players moved across to Oakleigh districts, not the greatest but solid, Lyndale supposedly having a few players leaving losing Chanel to country footy and Ashwood losing a lot to Doncaster. I don't see many competing with both clayton and dandy both splashing money

2022 - Lyndhurst and Frankston
2023 - South Morno and Hampton
2024 - Hampton and Hallam
2025 - Hallam and Dandy

speaking to mate at lyndale he said they lost maybe 6 7 from ones either to other clubs chasing coin or retired but said they have picked up a handful of young 20-23yr olds from berwick springs fringe type players

I agree tho clayton spending way overs but be top 2
dandy spending but on the right age group and actual decent players from higher divisions will also be top 2

st Johns unless pick up a few will be middle tier, I watched a few games last year as mates play there and standard was average at best.

looks like 7 major sponsors on their social media posts if you times that by $3k-$5k thats a decent start

on socials seen at least 7 or 8 ones players gone various clubs , oakleigh district 3, clayton apparently has a few and spending more on moorabin players is the rumour.
think lyndale got 1 or 2 they said aswell

It would say a lot about the standard of Div 4 if players from Chadstone start to dominate. Certainly got a back bone and a big heart though having to front up for Chaddy the last few seasons.

their best player has landed at endeavour hills (divvy3 next year)
is harder than a cats head but that’s a decent jump

New coach at Moorabbin is Ex Keyes and someone i know at Moorabbin said he was bringing a few players from there the fact they kept their best in the marrons is good but will struggle.

not much out from South Yarra after what a successful year for them im hoping they can build on it
