On a broader note, if this is true and they do fall over is that a cautionary tale for setting up clubs based on ethnicity? I played against the dragons when they started as an offshoot of BHN and also against masala. Whilst I agree with the broader notion of getting non-Anglo cultures into footy (and acknowledge some would prefer the safer space of a club built around their values and beliefs) is it to a degree the same problem that besets the world game with teams split in racial lines?
I’d think if masala merged or went that would be the end of it as an experiment….
Hopefully people construe this in the right way in that I’m genuinely seeking discussion rather than trying to be low key racist

Hearing rumours they are coming back if outer east is merging Div 1 and Div 2 which they might Hallam won’t want to do the extra travel
Confirmed that they will only have two divisions next year.
