Would be interesting to see. The problem for you guys is that you don't really have another ruckman that would allow him to play forward more of the time. Or do you?

I always saw Ryder as more of a backup ruckman himself. I.E. I expected you guys preferred to play Bellchambers in the ruck and Ryder forward more than the other way around. Will be good to watch when they are both fit, I rate both of them.

Paddy's a better ruck than forward. In fact I'd say he's as good as a defender as a forward.

Rioli influence to many wins to not be one of our top 10. I have him top 5 but most if not all hawthorn supporters would have him top 10. Burgoyne would also find a regular spot on many hawthorn supporters top ten.

Dion Prestia. Constantly racking up 30+ high quality possessions every game and provides tonnes of run and carry. Is under the mighty shadow of G. Ablett though. If he was playing for the Pies or Essendon you'd never hear the end of it.

Joel patful is that underrated it's not funny. Has had a slow start to the year but scalped nick Reiwoldt on the weekend and is starting to find some form. Does his job week in week out without complaint.

Nathan Jones, Schultz, Stratton would be my guesses.

Puoppolo, does amazing one percenters chases and tackles and kicks a goal here and there , never never stops trying, is small, powerful, fast on the after burners , puts in quick speed and catches opponents, has good kicking skills, follows instructions , is dynamite in the Hawthorn ethic of how they play to win, that's all he plays for, and his team mates and fans. He is aggressive and unafraid. He is unassuming and a quality person, and I bet Clarko loves him , as for underrated? Well he gets a mention in despatches that's about all, but he is a game saver and winner , knows his job and does it continually. Should get footy's equivalent of the VC.

Comparisons to G. Ablett and the like are just ridiculous but then people go the other way and say he is overrated, he doesn't do much, he is inconsistent etc.

Cyril is a gun but he just isn't Gary Ablett and nor is anyone else.

I'd still take Pendles ahead of him. Swan is a gun and like with a lot of guns people like to pick on the little weaknesses that exist ie. with Swan his kicking at times. Generally his efficiency is ok and he gets it 30 times a week and generally they are not cheapies in the back 20 of the ground. By the same token Swanny isn't a top 5 midfielder in the league and shouldn't be rated as such.

I say nathan jones because despite being BOG in 2/4 matches melbourne played in this year, he didn't make the rolling AA on the sunday footy show. Also I think he's a top 10 player in the afl but most people don't seem to think he'd be top 20 so for me he's underrated
