Any bookies opened for the Caulfield Stakes yet? Pretty keen to jump on Ocean Park and maybe a nibble on the Quinella with Manighar. Checked CB this morning hadn't posted anything yet.

Gatewood just wins doesn't it, it's not the greatest Herbert power field is it? If all is well he just looks too good.

The usual issues apply but they knew he'd have to win something here to get into the big races.
There are other options but this is the softest race he'll run in over the next few weeks.
On his recent form around QFP & Arc placegetter Masterstroke he beats these.

Yep agree 100% Seth. It just seems the kind of race for him that you would look at after he's won and think geez that field was a couple of rungs below. I've taken probably too much of that $5 but if he's half right he shoul space them they are a long way off our best stayers. He could blow them away and at the price hes awfully hard to go past.

After backing Masterstroke on the weekend, i agree with the thoughts on Gatewood. Remains to be seen if he's switched on enough after the trip. So 'll be looking to double Gatewood on to something else in the meeting not sure yet.

Just looking over the Gondolphin duo coming out at the moment. Lost in the moment back again after his sixth last year, i think he has run in three 2 milers recenlty. Cavalryman ran 3rd in the Arc last year behind See the Stars, two interesting horses.

yosei with 52kg, especially if you get the rain forecasted. huge run in the epsom and performs best in group 1's
