It wasn't that slow.

People are trying to pick apart a race to make excuses for a $1.20 shot who had every chance to win. Obviously trying to find something to blame for jumping into the shorts. The horse just wasn't good enough

he was 6 wide on the turn mate, he had nothing like the momentum coming into the straight that Super Cool did.

i thought IAD's race was a really good example of why MV is such a different track.

Not sure what to make of that - not the sort of run that you want to see prior to the Derby - may have been a slow pace but it was making no ground on Super Cool over the last 100m or so. I wouldn't be taking it at anything less than $5 now.
