Great to see Nick Ries in there. Your number one pick last year and played well in the Box Hill Finals series. Sam Mitchell is in a similar category. The Hawks just had to draft him. Robert Campbell and Michael Osborne also caught my attention playing in the VFL finals last year.
There's also a bit of experience in the team, so it seems like there is a good balance (according to an outsider). Pity that the team is missing Crawford, and number 1 defender Hay.

Good to see some young guys getting a run. I'm a big wrap for Michael Georgiadis-he had a great year at Box Hill. There will be some big jobs for some young guys-who will pick up Carey?

It will be a huge win if this squad can get over the Roos. The backbone of the backline (Hay and Rawlings) are out and we might be a little thin up back.

P.S. It wouldn't surprise me if Daniel Chick doesn't play. His missus is 9 months pregnant and ready to give birth any day. If she goes into labour on Saturday or Sunday, then I'd expect Chicky will not play
