Squad vs Richmond

Just checked the gfc website for the team to play Richmond and noticed that the squad contains no Ottens... i would have thought they would be aiming to field close to the round one team for this hit out.

I would assume precautionary measures are being taken by the club, but they are playing Scarlo, Ablett, Chapman who are all returning from injury.

Anyone know if he has a niggle or injury the club is hiding?

This team has Otto and Selwood in for Mumford and Davenport... which looks more realistic.

This is the same 26 man squad that was on the GFC website earlier today and I posted it in the "Final practice game details" thread.

Dunno whats happened to the GFC website since then but it has lost a couple of names and added 4 or 5 ??????????

Id be incline to think the squad in the above link and posted in the "Final practice game details" thread is the correct squad.

So whats the story with whos playing Friday................

The first squad published was of 26 and was only missing Maxy and Stokesy then 3 hours later the squad has been altered and extended to 28 with Otto and Selwood missing from the original 26 and Davenport,Lonergan,Varcoe and Mumford included.

Anyone whats going on with that website at GFC ??????

Is it managed by aliens ?????

That's a bloody strong team we're fielding there. Good to know we're starting to build up for round 1. No Varcoe, I notice - looks like Shannon is going to get the starting gig between the two of them for the start of the season.

Yeah mate its free entry for Geelong members and AFL members, $10 for adults and $5 for concession.

It is strange, a couple of years ago i registered and got it no worries, then last year i stopped getting it regularly and had to re register then started getting it more frequent but not weekly and now im not getting it anymore.

Who knows?????
