Movie Star Wars - Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker - Spoilers and Rumors

It was interesting hearing Ronald D Moore talk about social media and the writing process. If they had a plan for this trilogy, they need to see it through, and not start tinkering to appease some fans. Sure, some people won't like it, but plenty still do; better to have a coherent film that most like than an incoherent one that no one likes.
It's a shame this kind of thinking was thrown out for the last Jedi.

Except it wasn't. The fans played no role in the creative process and RJ wrote a script in communication with the Star Wars story group and its overall plan. That's the point Moore was trying to make; artists create and then put their work out to be judged. Not everyone will like it, but trying to finish the trilogy by committee will make an even worse film.

They don't have a plan and were openly proud of it from the start.

Careful, young padawan. Remember. Excitement leads to expectation. Expectation leads to subverted expectations. Subverted expectations leads to Russian bots. Russian bots leads to suffering. :p

It's quite possible Ep IX is going to the best or the grandest star wars movie ever. Grand in scope, grand in the amount of characters all brought together into one film.

Are you thick?

It's well established that RJ threw JJ's overall treatment out the window.

You quote a three-month old post, miss the point completely, and I'm thick?

Regardless of whether he threw out all of JJ's treatment (and it's just speculation how extensive the treatment was and how much was thrown out or retained), everything was done with the approval of Kennedy and the Star Wars story group. So they were happy with the direction and signed off on it. They need to stay the course and not let fans write it for them, because fans are often stupid.

But at the same time, still copy Empire + Jedi.
It’s quite marvellous really. It copies the narrative structure of empire besides rushing the start and moving the battle of both after the climax and add scenes of Jedi mixed in there and still manages to subvert expectations.

The problem is the actual subverting is just bad writing designed to trick the audience.

No he didn't stop making up lies...

Knights of Ren where clearly supposed to appear, Rey's parents were clearly supposed to be of some importance.. and RJ decided to do his own thing, please be an adult now.
