Steven King could be in a bit of strife

No probs. When you fail to read the opening line of a post, in this case the most relevant one, you also leave yourself open.

Can you send me the standard operating procedures? Is there a Bigfooty users manual?

Bigness, think of it as covering your backside, if you don't quote your source, then those words can be attributed to yourself and if someone takes offence......the ball is in their court, legally speaking.

I really don't give a toss about whatever response you make, with whatever ways you use to get around swear filters, I just know that it is far smarter to quote someone when you are quoting them. OK, I missed the first bit of that particular post, but trust me, with the rubbish you have been speaking here, it is understandable.

You are still to reply how you justify the statement of:

This would compare fairly poorly against Alan Didak's actions would have thought

Or were those not your words either. It was a bit hard to tell, I initially though Steven King actually hit you:eek:

Kingy seems like a good sort. He hasn't been at the Saints long but I already like him a lot and am very glad we picked him up.

I seriously doubt there wasn't more to this incident than this "John" character is claiming.

I doubt there was just a greeting called out and then the punches started flying.

No criminal charges but "John" is after a compensation claim?

Good luck with that.

Interesting too that he's prepared (or should I say his lawyer) to put King and these allegations on the public record but "John" doesn't want to be identified?

Also of note is that public record comes at a time when Saints players are out of the country, can't really get the other side to a story unless you wanna fly over to Phuket, Bali & parts of Europe. Which would then leave the club and Nixon to manage it, but both have accoridng to the article attempted some manner of bribary to make it go away, so arguably perfect time to put up a smokescreen and let imaginations wander no?

Interesting. I suppose it will get a similar treatment to the Dean Brogan/crows fan incident.

Brogan incident was slightly different as the bloke Brogan snotted was verbally abusing him, somethink involving dogs. Victim I think sprayed Brogan with a hose. Was during the day and no alcohol involved.

With King it looks like he didn't enjoy the Cats losing the GF, maybe mistook the victim as someone else and basically attacked the guy without provication.

I agree that if it's true, it is as bad, if not worse, than Didak's last incident, but that got an overkill because of previous incidents, some of which were more serious than this.

However, that shouldn't be in play here, what should be in play is that Steven 'King hit' a guy, and that the club knew about it and tried to cover it up by offering him free football tickets but didn't sanction King.

Compensation is often successful, even without criminal charges.

"John then proceded to enter his vehicle and drive his sick, ailing mother to Church where he was to conduct the Sunday Mass. John is currently researching the cure to cancer and at night has been known to take on the secret identity of Superman where he spends his time protecting the city of Melbourne from crime."

I believe this story more :thumbsu:

I still remember this thug punching Sierakowski unconscious in a ruck contest. While unconscious he fell to the ground and did his knee - end of career. Wasn't even cited by the AFL despite being caught beautifully by photographers. Like the Barry Hall decision, hindsight has proven very embarrassing for those tribunal duds.

Sounds like you were there.

Care to fill the rest of us in with your intimate knowledge of the situation.

Like other Didak apologists - you completely miss the point.

Didak wasn't suspended for joy riding with Hudson and he certainly wasn't suspended for getting into the car with Shaw.

He was suspended for lying to his president, coach & captain.

But you knew that . . . didn't you?

However, that shouldn't be in play here, what should be in play is that Steven 'King hit' a guy, and that the club knew about it and tried to cover it up by offering him free football tickets but didn't sanction King.

So you also know what happened that night & the conversations with St Kilda?

Care to share that with the rest of us?

Compensation is often successful, even without criminal charges.

Not in assult cases it's not.

Even if you can prove your case you still need to justify the compensation.

Given your previous post I'm guessing this isn't an area where you're an expert.

Come to think of it, all Alan has ever done wrong is sit in a car and lied about sitting in a car.......on more than one occasion. Poor fella has been buried for it.

"lied" being the operative word

Ricky Nixon, said: "I have investigated (the claims) and don't think that Steven has any concerns."

manager speak for, I asked Steven and he said "she'll be right Ricky"

Now I'm concerned

well done to the big fella

Nice work by the big man - she is absolutely smoking.

Used to be worth tuning into 'The Price is Right' just to check her out.

Well it was the only part of the story I know is fact.

If it happened on Fitzroy Street I would imagine there's video footage of the incident. The truth will probably come out in time.

As for the allegations against the club, well they are denying that. TBH, if they are lying I would consider that worse than the offer itself (bit like the Didak situation).

As if the club would lie

Arrh, so this is personal to you.

Explains a fair bit.

BTW, getting into a dust up and punching a guy <<<<<<<<<<< getting into a car where shots are fired. But that is just my opinion:cool:

read the opening line gonad, it's taken from another site

Actually, where is your link to the OP????? Whoever wrote the article deserves to be mentioned. It is actually polite to do so.

All too hard I guess?:D

polite is 2 of your teams players kinghitting and kicking a bloke at the prince of wales in st.kilda, fine coach he'll make. and as for your brownlow runner -up, he should've been charged just for wearing that faggy denim vest he had on that night in the security videos

Brogan incident was slightly different as the bloke Brogan snotted was verbally abusing him, somethink involving dogs. Victim I think sprayed Brogan with a hose. Was during the day and no alcohol involved.

it was in an airport wasn't it, where the ****s he going to get a hose in an airport, "hang on Dean while i hook this thing up to the shitters over there then unroll it and spray you in the face with it, ok"

manager speak for, I asked Steven and he said "she'll be right Ricky"

Now I'm concerned

don't be concerned, nixon is a manager of the highest ethical standards

Stopped reading at Arnold Thomas & Becker.

Think ambulance and chasing, if you know what one is and can run after it then you can work for them.
