Fair while since we had an Alf play for us. bedford correct me please but I think our last one was Alf Beus. He ended in the VFA and was a very hard man.

I like how some old fashioned names like Alf are getting a run these days.

I like this initiative but I'm curious about its purpose. In the case of these 4 lads, I'm not expecting them to one day feature on our list and I wonder if there's a bit more to the program than just scoping out and developing prospective recruits? Maybe it's part of building the family ethos of the club and bringing together club people, young and old?

It seems like we rarely get any father/sons come through our club. It's frustrating watching clubs like the Dogs and Crows line them up almost yearly.

Who was our last father/son before Kirk?

It'd be great if we could compile all the potential father/son's and their eligible draft year into a list that's stickied at the top kinda like the player contract thread. Give us something to hold some hope onto. Is that something that would be possible if a list was compiled Ticky009? I'd be happy to put a little time into it if it is and maintain it with any updated info.

Tallulah Kirk played in the U19 girls academy squad today. Played mostly HFF. Put her head over it a couple of times but the ball barely went near her all day. Not sure that we will ever see her in the AFLW.
