Imagine if Charlie scores the first goal of opening round. The Carlton supporters will be losing their heads.

And opening the Sack Voss thread

It would have quoted him if he did

Ollie got the call from Leon Cameron & this is what was said to him according to Ollie. This was from the ABC site, an AAP article. They would have asked comments from the club.

"It was definitely tough," Florent told afl.com.au.

"They [Sydney] pretty much just said, 'We want you out. We want you gone.'"

That the club has made no denial is quite telling.

Neither Hayward or Florent are both better than Curnow so your argument is moot.

No player is untouchable as the likes of Schneider and Dempster found out. We got Mattner in return who won us a Premiership, so this is a pointless argument that we have never acted like this before.
So, our players have been told this before? I think both of those were Cap management issues and were told so.

"It was definitely tough," Florent told afl.com.au.

"They [Sydney] pretty much just said, 'We want you out. We want you gone.'"

I am not sure that kind of language has EVER been used before. Usually our club has maintained a very softly, softly approach. Trying to not upset players too much while delivering bad news.

The fact the club has made no denials is huge. The person delivering the news to Ollie, Leon Cameron according to another article.

The I m struggling to see the problem here……why would the club bother to respond. Time to let this go.

"Pretty much just said..." is not a quote, it's an interpretation.

Swans: Ollie, we know you want to stay. At this point in time your opportunity in the AFL team are going to be limited as we see some younger players that deserve an opportunity. If you want to play AFL football, it might be in your best interest to look for another club.

Ollie: They [Sydney] pretty much just said, 'We want you out. We want you gone.

Swans Supporters: Thank you Ollie for your service to the club, we wish you the best of luck at Carlton, they're getting a great guy.

A great initiative, hope they do it again next year.
Id hope not because that would mean it hasn't been successful. The players that took part and the coaches and support staff who've acquired this knowledge should be constantly applying it all the way through the year and after the season as a continuous program.

You still get the best if available

I found it interesting that all 4 were doing the same exercises. 2 ankles, a hamstring and I don't know what Edwards' injury was. Not knocking it, just interesting.
