This whole article is making the point that Hakea prison is stopping men from exercising their legal rights and that women in the same situation do not face the same restrictions as men at the prison.

Totally bizarre that the WA government are allowing the pandemic to take away people's legal rights and due process. Stupid of them to take this sledgehammer approach but not put systems in place to support it.

Every state is susceptible to Covid as it is only coming in from quarantine. SA has had no Covid other than a Nov. outbreak from quarantine of 30 odd people for as long as WA. Qld just ran a football season with little to no Covid. WA has a small population with fewer people flying in from OS, that is 90% why they have no Covid. Of course closing borders every time someone sneezes helps that, but border control is not the main cause.

Yeah that’s why Brisbane is locked down due to the no positives in victoria, the woman was in quarantine in victoria and she was allowed to leave victorian hotel quarantine whilst positive , now Brisbane is locked down, but hey no community transmissions in victoria or south australia

She came from the UK, quarantined and was found to have traces when she retested to QLD. "With a normal variant we would not be as concerned … but because of this new variant we are just being ultra-cautious."
Of course quarantine is an issue no matter where you are, but she did her quarantine, just like she would have if she had flown into WA rather than QLD.

Close. She tested negative before she left but starting feeling crook when she got to her parents place in Maleny where she tested positive again.
The cleaner from the Grand Chancellor is the reason Brisbane is locked down.
All this whilst the outbreak sits at 1. 147 close contacts of the cleaner have been tested for 0 positive results. But just another excuse for that loopy CMO to wave her wand in the air

Brisbane is locked down because a cleaner at the quarantine hotel contracted the UK strain, nothing to do with the person who flew from Victoria and was tested negative by the criteria every state uses.

Stack needs to be with someone clean-nosed, like Cotchin, although I'm not sure the family would want to take him in based on his recent history.

If spending a few weeks in jail doesn't wake him up, (and admittedly the punishment here outweighs the crime) then nothing else ever will.

I think there is more to do on this. The Maleny lady is separate to the lockdown cause. That said, they are both a new dominant strain hence why great care was taken.

Dusty also sets an incredible standard of preparation and training. He can learn from the best as to when he can let his hair down and when to be professional

I’d argue that’s exactly what he needs...
Does a kid who likes to party connect more with a guy who likes to party or a guy who is a cleanskin?
