Sorry for jumping on your site, but watching last nights game, couldnt get over how much he reminded of his uncle?Peter who played for Rich? and Oakleigh who I watched often in my younger years,Tall rangy left footer CHF ,kick a goal from a mile out ,but miss an easy one,a typical Cloke hard at it,must be in the genes

My apologies if this has been mentioned before

Maybe last night he listened to Blighty and "relaxed his shoulders". lol :/

Hope he can continue his form for the next two weeks, and as far as we get into the finals.

When he takes a mark I hardly expect him to ever kick a goal, especially after last year. It's fantastic when he nails them though :D

Peter Cloke is indeed Travis uncle and played at Richmond and Oakliegh as did Travis father David.

David Cloke also played for Collingwood and Travis was picked up the Father/Son rule.

Incidentally David Cloke and Mick Malthouse both played for Richmond in their 1980 VFL Grand Final victory over Collingwood.

Hi guys,

Using this thread to save creating a new one

heard a rumor he has glandular fever.. anybody got any information on this, as Reid is an emergency so it could have some merit to it?

Heard he had food poisoning in SA, but from what i know, early stages of g fever can involve vomiting as the pancreas is enlarged...

The beauty of SEN.

Radar mentioned before the 7:30 news that there was a rumour about that Trav had Glandular fever then just after the 7:30 news he said a club official confirmed that he did not have Glandular but a bit of a virus and would train today.

The truth is probably somewhere in between.....

lol, good old SEN...

Seems a LOT of players have had a 'virus' this year.. also seems that each player has missed the following game.

Time will tell if he plays, will be a last minute thing if he pull out

Lets hope it is just a rumour.

Going by what Collingwood did in sending Didak home when he had signs of the flu, they are most likely not taking chances with Travis if he still has lingering signs from Adelaide.

Better one player out than the whole team coming down with something if the rumour is true

Geoff walsh said trav had a virus was kept away from training not to infect anyone, but WILL train today

One of our board members who flew back from SA with the team said that Cloke threw up 5 times on the way home. It's probably fair to assume that it's an illness continuing on from that, and no reason to think mononucleosis is the culprit IMHO.
