I imagine we would have been keen to keep him all along. Like I said in the original post, his talent is sublime. But the intangible for us as outsiders is whether he wants out and whether its best for him to get a fresh start. And if so, whether North would seek to take maximum returns while he's still contracted.

North were made aware of earlier allegations way back in 2022 and it’s only when the court case for separate allegations came out that he was stood down.

I’m not saying my club is innocent over the years. I’d say no club has been.

We won't get appropriate value for him. Better to let him go for nothing next year than let a club lowball.

Additionally I would note that he owes the club who have really stuck by him much, much more than they should have.

If he requests a trade (as I suspect he will) the club needs to publically set a price (e.g first round selection before pick 15) and stick to it. No relenting, no confusing four way deals with hard to follow pick swaps. Set a simple price and stick to it. If other clubs don't want to pay it then fine, he stays another year.

Absolute must keep for North. Just get him fit as f@*k and watch him bloom into a genuine star he has teased us with.
Been doing everything lately, bursting out of the middle with silky, fast clearances, racking up the disposals, had 700+ meters gained this past weekend to go with some goals. He doesn't look like a bloke who isn't invested or not wanting to get better.

Doesn't fit the minimum age requirement at Geelong anyway If he is playing the footy he is at the minute as a "loose cannon", I cant wait to see what he plays like when on the straight and narrow path. I'm sure he has learnt his lesson through the whole ordeal he went through as a 20-21 year old and will be better for it. 99% of blokes who cop the heat and outside noise he did as a 20-21 year old dont even get back on the field let alone produce the output and numbers Tarryn has

Sweet - so in 12 months since TT made the mistake he will be all good again. Not long now.
